The reason Islam is the fastest-growing religion is because the children of Muslim parents are automatically counted as Muslims, regardless of whether or not they personally believe in Islamic teachings.

Also, I do not believe that America will become an Islamic nation. This country was founded on Christian beliefs and teachings, and whether or not you personally believe Jesus is the Son of God etc., it can't be denied that "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a good thing to live by.

Ten percent is not a very high number for the Islamic population in France. Actually, I think you might've made that up. The actual number is probably higher. But that's neither here nor there. France recently elected a new, more conservative president who will not bend to the demands of the Muslim population. That's definitely some good news for apparent Islamophobes such as yourself.

And last time I checked 10% is not the majority. I wouldn't consider France to be an Islamic nation.

How do you make out that, because France has a 10% Islamic population (which I doubt), they are a Muslim Nation.

France has just had their national elections. Sorry, I missed the names of the Muslim nominees. They certainly didn't get many votes.

in islam just like any other religion, when the kids are born they are automatically muslims, but hey, isn't that the same in every religion. what are you gonna do tell your one day old baby to choose his own religion, NOW. or you are gonna consider him a muslim. when he grows up he either lose his religion or chooses to practice and to be a good muslim. if you decide to change your religion you could do it, nobody will kill you except the bad non representers radical muslims ( these bad examples of islamic groups found in pakistan and other countries sometimes follow converters( to other religion), but that is not a law that is embraced in any country, it is just considered a terrorist act even by muslims. there is no indication what so ever that prophet Mohammed did kill anybody because he changes his religion, in fact during a treaty(deal of Hudaibia) that was obtained between muslims and non muslims at the time of the prophet, the converters ( to non islam) were allowed to go back and join their previous tribe (of non believers), that was part of the written deal.
no body can judge you and accuse you of being a non believer and a non muslim ,that is God's job, at the day of judgment.

why Muslims go to other countries, well jews go to other countries and Christian Hispanics go to other countries as well as Christian Romanians and others.and others....
they are just looking for better opportunities ,money and education, because our countries are basically poor and that does not have to do anything with the religion itself because these Muslims still practice their religion at these other countries.
in the rich countries who is populated by muslims like kuwait and Qatar and all the gulf area. you can rarely see an immegrant leaving these countries because basically they are leading a pretty good life.
note. I refused to say islamic countries, because unfortantly there is not true islamic country, even though these countries claim to embrace islamic law, however they tend to have tons of mistakes that can be fatal to the consideration of this country being ISLAMIC. the only thing they do is misrepresent the true meaning of the Islamic state and thus of islam.

muslims tend to have alot of kids, that is a typical stereotype and that just happens in some countries. in my country the average is 2 to 3 kids per family and they are muslims and praciticing,
there is birth control in islam and it is not prohibited at all neither by Quran(GOD) or by the hadith(Muhammed).

It's not due to current birthrates that Islam is the fastest growing religion- it's to do with other factors.

If we relied solely on birth rates as statistics...then that would only make Islam the majority religion by 2500 by 51% of Earth's population.

It's actually could be quicker than that without forced conversions.

Many people are seeing Christianity becoming too liberal and want to revert to Orthodox methods, this is clearly reflective in the United States bible belt...like Texas. Islam appeals more to different races because many see Christianity as a white man's religion.

We cannot go by the stereotype that people are all getting forced to convert or it's down to birthrates. The majority of Muslims live in democracies. It's due to being a counterweight against other faiths...or Islam appealing more on different aspects.

Any religion which is simple and practical for people, and serve their spiritual purpose establish its roots with time. Islam is the best religion at present time, if you follow it as it is meant to be followed, it cares equally for all sects of human life, it has its Holy book, which is the Word of Allah, and everything about the human life problems is in it to solve them properly, it is like a constitution of happy and healthy life within a society. Quran if understood properly and followed strictly can bring peace and hence paradise even on this earth. It has explained each persons rights and duties according to their status in the Muslim society, and that if understood properly can make us live like a family, together in which religion you may belong. And with times in living together you will discover what is true Islam, and how can you hold your heart if it will follow Islam, no question of being christian , Jew, the question is your understanding what it is teaching you. Anyone can live his own life according to his religion and beliefs happily unless he interferes with the believes of Muslims. Islam gives freedom and equality to all who practice it or not.

alot of answer here. ok ist question india has the second highest population of muslims, which u probably didn't know.
when u thought abt india u prob thought hinduism.
um, actually there are as many ppl leaving islam in asia and africa, as there is converting in the west . so really there is no increase.
Since the shia's and sunnis are blowing each other up, in suicide bombing, the pop of iraq will be really low, by the time they are finished. so really there is not much increase.
the ppl that have converted my friend will eventually leave, i am sure of that.
