this sounds like a scratched cornea. Do not rub your eye. Get to an ophthalmologist immediately. This is an emergency situation. You cannot wait, this is not going to go way, without medical treatment .

If there is green or yellow goop coming out of your eye, then it's infected. Do you wear contacts? If so take them out IMMEDIATELY! If they're disposables, throw them away.

You could have a scratch on your eye or some other sort of irritant. Try to take a warm washcloth and gently wipe your eye from the middle to the outside. Afterwards you can even just hold the warm compress on your eye to increase circulation there and sometimes ease the pain.

If it lasts for more than a day, go see your eye physician.

Go see the doctor as it sounds like you have something very serious.
