find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You do not need to lose weight! Just because your friends are in the 70's and 80's weight does not mean you need to share the same weight as they have! You weight sounds good for your body! Hundred pound is not that much, just be happy with the way you are!

You don't need to lose weight. If you want to look better, tone up doing ab routines, and eating better (less sugar and bad fats). I'm sure that if you eat a little better, exercise a little, you will look 200% better then your friends, because they are underweight anyways, and you look better when you are in shape then underweight.

hey, i will tell you how to lose weight. 100 lbs is not a heavy weight (i am 98 lbs) however for a person of only 4.9 it is. instead of eating 3 big meals eat a small meal every 4 hours this will keep your metabolism high (the speed you burn fat) cut out carbohydrates (pasta, bread, etc), cut out fat (chocolate, meat, etc) and drink lots of green tea. no need to over exhaust yourself with excerise just as long as you burn more calories than you eat then you will soon notice the difference.

The number one rule, darling, is to eat in moderation. Eat to live NOT live to eat. AND MOVE! Move your body for exercise.
Please don't diet. It sounds like you are young and the absolute last thing that you need to do is diet because it will put you on a cycle that will control the rest of your life. Believe me I understand about being embarrassed about weight but please don't fall into that trap of dieting.
Best of luck to you.
