Ok I live in PA. I work for a PA company as a contractor for a DE company..( in my paycheck DE state tax is deducted) When i get laid off in Aug (if i dont have a job yet) where do I file for UC benifits??

File in the state where you live, they will send the forms to the correct state, who, if you are laid off should pay your unemployment check.

You always file for unemployment in the state you live in. I live in CA and worked for a company based in CT and I still filed in CA.

I would assume your state of residence, but it might be a good idea to check with the PA dept of employment or its equivilant.

You live in Pennsylvania, so you'd apply for benefits in Pennsylvania.
