You can just look at deforestation. Perhaps the destruction of the reef environment. Shall we talk about extinction of species?

gosh, this forum is insane. do you realize that all human output of all these bad emissions and such, amounts to 1/30 of the total emissions for the planet? now, take that a step further. what do u think that u and i contribute to this 1/30 ratio?
in short, SQUAT.
it is amazing to sit here and read everyone's comments on how we r doing this; we r doing that; we killed off this and so forth.
hello, in my world 1+1 still = 2. in this global warming debate, 1+1 has come to = 3. all u people post lil' questions about "WE" when "we" should be asking about "THEM"; the real polluters,i.e. governments & corporations!!!
the propaganda is in full swing.(and how effective it has been, YES!?)
the propaganda states that we r to blame. the little person going about their small daily lives. bull@#$t. you r being duped into thinking that u can't manage anything yourself. the last straw is the environment. you can't even keep that straight.
well, since you can't manage yourself, here let the state do it for you.
see through the hype, my friend. don't b a casualty of state/corporate propaganda. their is much more at stake here. your very freedom. if you can't take care of yourself and the environment, well, sir, the state will do it for you.
NO THANKS...
food for thought, have you looked into how the banner of global warming is waived in the face of poor and developing counties as the main reason they should NOT develop; in other words, STAY POOR. that's right, keep the brown people poor. squash any competition for western interests. all hale global warming; the new religion with the faulty IPCC report as the bible.

blah...c the big picture cowpoke...

ye-ha-yippie-ye'ha- we're all gonna die...ye'ha

I believe common sense and logic is something that is missing in the discussion of "human causality".

Either you adopt the eco-marxist religion or you are a heretic.

Guess I am a heretic..

The "myth" of human caused global warming is pure ecomarxist propaganda.

I can provide several links with some valid research.

One fact that is valid (ala, ecomarxists line of thought) is earth's temperature has increase 7/10s of one percent over the last hundred years.

The rest is pure "IF" theory. Iffing all over themselves is the current modality of what would seem normally intelligent people.
Between "guessing" and "iffing" supposed intelligent people have created a religious phenomena not based in scientific principles or REASON!!

I strongly suggest checking out these two websites for real answers..

Contains several links to documentaries that run counter to the prevailing wind and do represent "true climate science"

The "Rainforest" deforestation question is pure "BS" too,

The majority of forestry companies have adopted sustainable lumber practices for nearly 50 years. Weyerhauser, Georgia Pacific and many of the "Rain Forest" species have been farmed for decades. A recent UN study showed the rate of decline of the rain forest has dropped dramatic over the last 20 years..

The eco-marxists would have people living in mud huts without heat, water or plumbing as is the case in many developing nations. For people to come out of poverty and filth development needs to occur. Practices of sound science need to be adopted not emotional appeal.

As opposed to giving you a detailed description, allow me to reccomend you to a book. It is actually a children's book called The River Ran Wild by Lynne Cherry. It is the story of the Nasshua River. It begins in the time of the Native Americans and chronicles the river through time till today. It explores the changes in the river as a result of humans and development. It is really an eye opener.

Better question: How has the human race NOT destroyed the environment?

We clear cut forests that provide numerous resources and habitats for animals. We dump toxic wastes in our water supply. We pollute our air and are killing our ozone layer with fumes and gases.

Basically, you would almost think that we are doing everything in our power to destroy this planet.

Just go to LA, Chicago, or New York. Inhale. Viola! Air shouldn't have a taste.
