I know a lot of sad things. But this is one that sticks out. About 3 1/2 years ago a Marine married his high school sweetheart. Both 19 and in love. Not long after had a little girl. Evey thing was great. A year later they found out they were expecting again. Soon into the pregnancy the Marine was deployed to Iraq. One day word came to the Marine via Red cross message his wife had a baby boy, during so she had complications and died while giving birth. He was to return home to bury his wife and tend to his now two children. Soon after coming home and burying his wife his not even one month old child was found dead. Thinking he killed the baby police arrested him and put the kids in foster care. one of the saddest part of this is he didn't have any support after everything he went through returning home from Iraq. Alone trying to manage two small kids and the lost of his wife. After one year in Jail and a long trial they found out the baby died of SIDS. In the end he was released but his daughter didn't recognize him, he lost his wife and son, and was separated from the Marine Corps due to his Mental Health. That is sad.

This is one of my saddest story:
I know people are murdered every day here in the US and lately little girls seem to be the target of choice. But this story about the two little girls who were murdered in Illinois has bothered me so much. They were just two little girls playing and then they were stabbed to death. One of them must have seen what was happening to the other. Oh, they must have been so terrified and it must have hurt so much. There were a lot of stab wounds on each little body.

Now, according to Fox News it seems the father of one of the little girls may be a suspect in the murders. Should this turn out to be the case, and I hope it isn’t because I don’t want to believe any father could do this to his little girl, I surely hope he is put away for the rest of his life. A man who could commit such an awful act should never be able to walk the streets again. This is not only a sin, it may be the worst sin. Little girls are daddy’s girls, not daddy’s stabbing target.

i know some sad stories but theyre one that you would have to know the people to see them as sad but heres one that may not be true but its really sad.

Two teenagers were dating for quite awhile and after theyre one year anniversary they boy was driving the girl home. The boy hands the girl a note and says "here read this whenever you get a chance" so the girl puts the note into her pocket, thinking its nothing. Then she turns to the boy and says "I think youre really nice but i dont think i love you anymore, im really sorry" After a moment of silence theyre car is struck by a drunk driver. The girl came out without a scratch but the boy did not make it. The next day, after such a tragity the girl remembers the note and it says "im in love with you and id die without your love."

I think one particular part of The Divine Comedy is one of the saddest things I've ever read. In The Inferno, read the second circle of hell, Canto V. It's about Francesca da Rimini and her lover, Paolo, who have been murdered by Francesca's husband and sent to hell because of their adultery. Their doomed to be blown around forever, and can never be together again. The writing is amazing.

I was lucky enough to meet a sweet little German woman at an office that I worked at. Her husband was very sick and needed to go to the hospital via ambulance. This little woman didn't drive and needed a ride home. I volunteered to drive her, as it was the end of my shift and I knew approximately how to get to her home.
Oh, by the way, she was well into the stages of alsheimer's. As I was driving, she began to tell me the story of her trip to the United States from Germany. This is how it went.
She was a young girl during one of the World Wars, I never was good at keeping them straight. Anyways, she said that her parents, friends and family used to tell her that she was the ugliest girl they ever seen. One day, the American soldiers came through her town and handed out chocolate bars to a bunch of the kids. Because of her belief that she was ugly, she didn't approach people. One soldier came to her and offered her a chocolate bar, which she gladly took. Several years later, her family told her to pack her bags because she was going to America to get married. She did as her family told her to and went to NYC to marry a rich man there. The first night there, she said the man came to her room with no clothes on and climbed on top of her. She said she threw up all over him and he kicked her out into the street.
So, she was in a strange city and didn't know anyone. She found a job as a nanny and stayed in NYC. One night she went to a local pub with some friends and sat in a corner watching everyone have fun. At some point in the evening she noticed a very handsome man walk into the pub and thought to herself, "I'm going to marry that man".
Low and Behold, later that actually happened. They decided to go back to Germany to get married. At their wedding, her husband introduced his new wife to his uncle; the only member from his family that came to Germany for the wedding. It turned out that her new husband's uncle was that very same soldier that gave her the chocolate bar, years before.
So, after years of love and life together, they were in present day. She had alsheimer's disease and his body was riddled with cancer. One day not too long after spending hours listening to this beautiful little woman tell the story of her life, I read in the paper about the murder/suicide of an old couple in town not far from me. It was them, it seems as though, he knew that she would never make it without him and he wasn't going to make it much longer. He did what he thought he had to do and it broke my heart.

I was just watching the news last night and an 8 month old baby boy was stabbed by his father (a sorry piece of crap). He purposely done it too. He was mad at the mother. They should stab him too, if you ask me.
