My aunt is 94, a widow of Navy veteran, are there benefits for her especially since she is in assisted living?

if her spouse was merely a veteran and not retired, no.
If he was retired, she would retain her medical beneifts and access tothe Commissary and Exchange.

If the VA does not give you answers, your local VFW post is there for you and will give you the straight answers. It would be a good idea to locate your uncle's DD-214 and make copies. This document key in providing benefit eligibilty.

Probably not at that age. If he had died from a wound or condition received in battle, possibly. Contact your local Congressional District Office and ask to speak to their Veterans Affairs case manager. He can tell you.
