Call the building inspector in the local munincipality you are concerned about. I DOUBT there is a law that covers this for the entire island. These rules are made up by the local lawmakers.

I think when the sun in the sky. Once the sun goes down, it's illegal and the business would be charged with public nuisance. Yet it's different everywhere. In Massapequa it might be 8 p.m. while in East Islip it might be 6 p.m. Best to call up and ask.

call ur town council to find out what they permit, usually sunrise to sunset is standard i would say 7:00am no later than 7:00pm. but call ur town to find out for sure.
