I think as long as your dad buys you lots of toys, guns and helicopters that your way will be the way everyone will want to do it.
You need to remember that your way isn't my way and that beards are overrated.

There is no reason to feel guilty or mad. Life is nothing but give and take. There is a time for giving, and a time for taking. Just don't do too much of one and not enough of the other.

If you feel you are right then do not feel guilty about sticking to your guns.If there is a way to compromise without losing a good out come don't be afraid to try it. No one is perfect though so keep that in mind. Win ,lose or draw--it's how you play the game.

Ya know, I feel like this A LOT and my husband makes me feel controling (doesn't mean to) which I am far from! For example, I've told him my views on alchohol and that I hate the way he acts when he goes overboard, my views on tobacco products and such...my husband FREELY gave all this up but he makes me feel so guilty because he is constanly asks why I have such a problem with it and why he "isn't allowed to do it" First off he is allowed to do whatever he wants and secondly HE VOLUNTEERED! It is annoying and emotional stress I do not need. I don't know if this helped but I ran across your question and he just did this to me again this morning so I figured I'd vent. lol Thanks!!

They way I do it is leaving a little bit of the white space that follows the pinkish part of the nail (as close as I can get it surrounding the pink area). I don't think anymore than that is healthy for your nerves.

Absolutely, it is called compromising. Say for example you wanted to eat at Mcdonalds but she wanted taco bell. You two can compromise, and say something like, Okay we can eat at Mcdonalds tonight, and then next time we will eat at Taco bell, and hold up on your word. It dosent have to be as you mentioned it. Have a different attitude about it, and it will change it all...

Is there ever any winning! Your probably one of those people who sit behind a desk all day crying about your problems. Probably never even had a real job!

compromise, either tell them that it will be 1/2 thier way and 1/2 your way. Or say well its my way this time and it will be your way next.
this way both are satisfied to some degree each time.
