This guy asked me to prom, but I really don't want to go. He's a senior and I'm a couple years younger. I barely even know him (like a stranger) and I have barely even spoke to him. The only thing that's holding me back is because I feel bad for him because I know it's his senior prom..and he doesn't have anyone to go with.

I just wanted to chill with my friends next weekend, but they aren't going to the prom either, so if I do go, I'll probably be a loner with this stranger. I know this would be a good deed if I accepted...but i don't really want to. what should I do??

Don't go. Only because I know of someone who, when we were younger, went with an older guy and none of the seniors wanted her there because she was younger. Tell him he should be going with someone his own age and someone he knows better. Don't go now or you'll spoil the fun of your own prom. You will have the time of your life when it is yours. :D Hope that helps.

I would go with him if you think he has a good heart and is a good person because maybe he could have asked someone else but he asked you. You don't have to put out or anything but maybe he is not that good looking and popular and you would make his day. Just my thoughts anyway. Remember sometimes the harder thing to do makes the world a better place and someday you will be rewarded for being a generous soul. But if he is just some dirtball then don't do it.

Say you're sorry. He still has a couple of days to ask someone else.

You can say

Erm, I'm really sorry but I have plans on that day. I feel really bad but I really do not wanna cancel my plans cause
its impt to me/I really need to be there.
Why don't you ask [insert name here]?
I heard that she is interested in going the prom but has'nt had anyone to go with her.
I am seriously really really sorry.

OR

I'm sorry man. I got plans on that day and you see, I barely know you. I'm really sorry but I heard [insert name here] is interested in going to the prom. Why don't you ask her?
Good luck!

Don't go if you don't want to.
Cause he might think you fancy him too and might lead to further complications.

Well, its your choice really.

No , don't sacrifice yourself just to spare his feelings you ll hate yourself for your weakness and probably be miserable which he will feel . Also you owe it to yourself to be going with someone you like .
Also you don't want the reputation of going out with hang dogs or they ll never stop bothering you and then it can get worse -SEX
And they probably have such low self esteem they start to wonder if there is anything wrong with you because you went with them

Have i convinced you yet !

Go with your heart, if you are not comfortable, then just say no, you may hurt his feelings, but whats the point of making yourself feel bad ?

ps, dont use the 'I am washing my hair' excuse,
