The one thing to remember is that your belief is just that, yours. It isn't a matter of which religion is the right one, it is a matter of which religion is the right one for you. You should be free to look at both those religions and others and choose for yourself which one suits you best. Religion is a path not a destination, feel free to explore as many paths as you wish and then choose which one you wish to follow for as long as you wish to. Religion should never be about pressuring you into conforming but bring you joy.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe Heaven is full and the best you have to hope for is an eternity of sitting outside the gate.

While the Catholic Church has become a humanized institution, the Church (meaning the Chirsitan body of believers) is still following "the Way, the Truth, and the Life."

Romans 3:23 - everyone is a sinner
Romans 6:23 - pentaly for sin is death (bodily and spiritualy)
John 3:16 - Christ died as atonement for our sins
Romans 10:9 - "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (put him first in your life), and belive in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
1 John 5:13 - "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know you have eternal life."

God bless your search...

When people`s only defence is to accuse others of lying it is because they have nothing to bring to the table. People may say all kinds of things about Catholics but at least this religion will not forbid you to get the proper medical treatment as the Jehovah Witness will. When a Cult decide what medicine is good for you this is when you should ask yourself serious questions about these people. Catholics also provide bible study...why don`t you look seriously into your own religion before dismissing it.

Good question.

But why just study Roman Catholic and Jehova.

Why not study the basic teachings of all semitic religions such as Christians (including Protestant etc), Judaism and Islam.

Do you know that these semitic religions have almost the same history. These three religions believe in the story of Adam (but with different versions) and believe that Abraham is the messenger of God.

Jehovah's witnesses are wrong. They think good works will get them into heaven. Southern Baptist is what I am. I have been all of my 32 years. Never strayed once. I would suggest you try it. They believe The Holy Bible. They believe God is creator of the world. Jesus is the only way to Heaven, not by works but by becoming a Christian or getting saved. That means asking God to forgive you of your sins, and come into your life to lead you and trusting in him. I don't know about the catholic church, All I know is no matter what religion, one must be saved in order to go to Heaven.

Believe what feels right to you. If you have a question about your courent religion, read about others. Get a comparative religion book (available at most book stores and libraries) and read about many paths, then pick the one that feels right to you. Don't let anyone else tell you what is the right religion for you. They are all just different ways to talk to the same energy.

You need to do more reading and exploring on your own. Go to the library and check out some books or comparative religion. Find out what the doctrines of different churches are. PRAY about what you learn and ask God for your answer not strangers.

No one can tell you what is best or who to believe in. I can suggest you pray to who or what you believe and see what happens? Ask for guidance. For example, Christianity has different types or churches but the definition should not change. It should still be based on a personal relationship with God. Pray and ask him to speak to you. Muslims believe in God, but what is the bottom line? There is a heaven and hell and you go to one or the other. Once again if that is the line you chose to take, ask their God to speak to you? There are alot of nice people out there and people that don't believe in anything but themselves who will take the pee out of your question. For the best answer, search deep in yourself and ask God to speak to you.

Jehovah's Witnesses is a cult. They teach an alternate gospel. They do not believe that Jesus Christ is who He says He is. As a Christian, I advise you not to let them in your house anymore. Be firm. At first, they can seem very nice. But see how they react when you tell them no thanks. You may surprised.
