You need to think of you first. What if this is the first of many things you have to give up for this person? Pretty soon, you would resent it and/or him; you'd also be very unhappy.
Three months isn't that much time. Why can't he wait for you while you are at this camp?

I think you should prioritize your future right now and if you guys really love each other and have a strong relationship I'm sure you won't lose him.You can stay connected via mails or calls.
Yeah but you should place all your trust and so he too would have to to avoid misunderstandings and confusion that would lead into a mess,as you'll be far away & won't see each other.
Good luck

If he loves you enough he'll understand that this is a fantastic opportunity that you really shouldn't miss out on. If he seems to be weird about it, don't stress too much. It won't necessarily mean that he thinks you shouldn't go, he may just be feeling a bit insecure.
Reassure him that you love him, but tell him this is something you need to do. Good luck!

I think there should be love managment courses for people in love!
It is not the end of the world! It is only 3 months and this is 2007! You could have daily contact with him! Text him, IM, e-mail, phone calls! He will be where you left him & if not trust me it will be for the best!
Cheer up!

Leave him behind. Your future is more important and he may not be part of it. If he was in your position, he'll probably leave you behind. It's nothing personal; just life. When you see a big opportunity, you seize it; you don't miss it just cos you love someone. Keep in touch and see how it goes. Harsh but true.

I suggest that u should give 1st preference to your work (or that camp), because, if u miss it this time, will u get another such chance? But, even if u leave this guy n go, n if he too likes u as much as u like him, he'll keep waitin 4 u patiently, n u needn't worry about it!

Hi,
I think you should go to the camp, because you love to bits. But the problem is that how to convence your lover. I think he never say No. Because if he really loves you and he wants to make you happy for ever then he cant say No.
But you have to ask him first and make him satisfied.
My best wishes is always with you. Bye.

there are millions of men. and only a few opportunities like the camp.
Tell him how much you love him and also explain that life is full of adventures, maybe someday he can go on one with you.

It's only 3 months stay with him but go to america then when you come back you can see if anything has changed. If it has then you know that he couldn't wait for you if it hasn't then great.
