there is no "fast way" to losing a few extra pounds for the average person,,contrary to what any magazine tells you. there are way to many individual factors to consider. such as stress levels,,food intake habits,,lifestyle, etc. find something that you are comfortable with that will produce the results you need in a safe and healthy matter. in short,,,,controlling appetite,,a regular over all body work out and the dedication to stick with it is all you have. i suggest cardio type workouts,,such as cardio kick boxing or some derivitave as that. its safe,,pill and fad free and it works.

First of all you need to lose overall body fat to have smaller stomach and legs. fat in those areas are a part of your overall fat .
Here are some tips you can make a HABIT so that you can lose those fat in time. Remember you can't do this for 1 month and expect results. This must be treated like a habit and you should enjoy it.
1. Climb to my floor using stairs at the office.
2. Do portion control, don't eat until you are full. 80% full is enough.
3. By sitting up straight actually your abs muscles are strained in a way and your muscle will help hiding your pouch once you burn enough cals
4. Stop beer!
5. Crunch exercise
Sit in your chair straight. Make sure your back is firmly against the back of the chair then you put your hands on your thigh and lift your legs alternatingly. Do this for three sets of ten.
Do regular sit up by lying flat on the floor. Then put your hands at the back of your head and bent your knees to make a 120 degrees angle between your thighs and your stomach. Then curl up and lift your shoulders from the floor. Don't use your hands to push your head. Repeat this exercise for three sets of eight.
6. Develop muscles in your thighs or arms. The more muscle you have, the better. Since your body will needs more calories to maintain those muscles. Which means your body will start using your calories stored in your tummy.
7. Cardio exercises: Running, aerobic at consistent pace.

Once you've decided to lose weight and burn all the fat in your body, you should make that commitment and follow it with a positive attitude. Another is a physical process of exercise. Cardio workout is an excellent way to lose weight. But many are scared by the thought of losing potbelly with cardio and sit ups. Though we would wish for a miracle to occur, it is not possible. Losing weight needs time and effort if you don’t have the suitable approach and encouragement to help you.

Sweetheart,
Help me out by telling everyone you know what I'm about to tell you...
YOU CAN"T LOSE WEIGHT FROM JUST ONE OR TWO AREAS!!!!!
If you do cardio 5 times a week for 30+ minutes each time and assuming you eat healthy, you will lose weight all over your body.
leg lifts and situps build muscle. They do not burn fat. So why work hard building muscle that is going to hide under the fat?????
You have to do both. And it takes time...sometimes months to see the difference...HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT??

overall weight (fat) loss
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
