One of so many thing some Muslims do it and it is against Islam. And in is from cultural point of view and not Islamic.

The problem with Muslims in this age, they are so ignorant of the real Islam.

Where did you find any proof of that? Adultery for anyone is a sin man or woman and God will be the judge.

KAREN C
That is the most stupid thing i have seen anyone write in a long time. If a woman is raped and is Muslim trust me her husband, brothers, father, cousins would take the person and get there own justice. Rape is a crime punishable by death, yes but not for the victim for the perpetrator. Ignorance is bliss honey you must be in nirvana.

EDIT:
"what i have heard" "What i have seen on the Internet" show me these links if you dont mind. Prove it. As for what you have heard, i have heard a myriad of things in my time does not make them true. Seen have you ever seen fake tapes? Fake videos? There is something called propaganda you know. Anyone can make a tape of anything and claim its this or that. We have a famous news editor in the UK printed pictures of what "seemed" to be British soldiers urinating on a tied up, head covered Muslim man. It caused outrage and the editor stood behind his source. It subsequently came out that the pictures where fake and he was fired. Pierce Morgan was the editors name. If an editor of a daily paper in the UK can be fooled so can you or anyone else.

You where the one doing mud slinging without any true knowledge if what you where saying was fact or not. Sharia Law is not hidden it is there for anyone to see. But to suggest victims of rape in Islam are punished your wrong the opposite is very much true. Nirvana to you sweetie!

It's not only about rape or Adultery, It's not only muslims, who kill female family members for the male idea of family honor.
in fact it is right here in the southern united states and it is wrong!
When your life can be ruined by a scum sucking gang of boys who were out to murder and steal and the dad's all get together after the gang's trial, to lynch the group of five girls who put that gang in jail saving all of their lives. when you are forced to live in fear of your own family for doing what is right that is wrong! And what is it about it's about a guy being able to murder, steal, and rape, and do it with impunity.

They also kill their daughters if they get raped. That I do not understand at all. It's a religion that has some very sick practices, that's for sure.

Sen B: Sorry if I offended you. I merely stated what I have heard and seen in the internet muslim news rooms, where, YES, they do speak "freely" about Sharia Law, albeit under the cover of the internet. There is no need to get personal about it. If I am wrong, blame it on your muslim brothers and sisters who speak of it in the newsrooms. As for Nirvana? Back at you girl.

Before you go mudslinging, make sure your hands are clean. You, my dear, ARE a joke.

Adultery is a sin but nobody can judge another person or kill him or her. It is a cultural thing: In some societies--both Muslim and non-muslim-- some ignorant persons react in a brutal manner, but they are brutes, not Muslims or Christians or Russian Orthodox , or whatever.

I am a Muslim--Allah be praised--and 65 years old, and I have certainly heard of such cases, but always in far-off places. But then adultery is probably rare in Islamic societies,

No, the Muslims are NOT murderers, in spite of all the neo-con propaganda.

I have not read any Islamic literature suggesting fathers to kill their daughters, yes adultery can be possibly punished by death but that has to come from a court of Islamic law, not anyone on the street can decide that on their own, peace

i hate to tell you... but several teenage girls have been executed after being raped.... one recently was on rial because she defended herself against the rapist in Iran and was about to be executed but a woman rock star from Canada helped put enough public pressure on the situation to help the girl get released

God commands people through the prophet Micah to "do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God" and neither justice nor mercy would punish a girl for being raped or defending herself in such a situation

there are situations of unfairness everywhere, but one hopes people strive so that the discpine of a child is appropriate to encouraging them to make better choices in the future and not innappropriately harsh or innappropraitely directed

it's called honor killings. the philosophy is that the daughters better die than their family be put to shame because of a scandal. sadly this happens all over the islamic world and it goes unreported because muslims believe in this.

Perhaps it is the fathers themselves who have sexually abused their daughters and then kill them to cover it up...seems plausible to me.
There is often a lot of familial sexual abuse within families who belong to sexually repressive religions.
Where the males in a family control the females and beating of females is culturally accepted to keep them in line then it isn't such a great step to sexual abuse and even murder.

It's called Honor Killing, and it's a cultural phenomenon, not a religious one.
