it's just another sign of the times
the bible predicted this in the time of the end
it will get worst before it gets better

Actually,I have read the bible many times. The shame is,that in my experience,it is the Christians(not all of them) who have not read the bible. It is a shame when one comes on,having no clue as to what TOE is or states, and to top it off, their knowledge of the bible is limited to a few, half remembered verses they learned in Sunday school. I took the time to study the bible and be familiar with it,yet Christians(not all) don't extend the same courtesy by being familiar with the science they are bashing. When you ask questions such as "why are there still monkeys" and "why doesn't a bird egg hatch a lizard sometimes?Immediately, one exposes themselves as having utterly no knowledge of the theory, yet they bash?I agree with you,how can one bash something one has no knowledge of. I do my part,I am well versed in the bible. It would help if the anti-science theists would do the same, and at least know WHAT they are bashing.

I read it many times and listened to pastors preach. Some teach the love but most teach hate and damnation and there lies the problem. If Christians actually did what Jesus taught and let other people live their lives without fear of Christians persecuting them the world would be a better place. If Christians would stop limiting God and his creation by acknowledging that Earth and all the life on it is far older than six thousand years with other planets created for other life in the universe as well, science would get along better with Christians. If people would give up their ego and stop trying to say they understand Gods will, we would have less war. We have free will and an intellect to use to better the human race and improve our lives through responsible science. Stop focusing on Jesus death and start practicing what he preached, you know, LOVE.

I am a christian have read the bible since childhood and do to this day. I have not read any of your posts till today. Your post offended me and hit me on the face. Somehow I am missing the love in your post? Jesus took the loving kind simple illustrations when talking to people of any sort. You think if he shouted in their face you're stupid it would have been beneficial?
I see "fricken" in your post which we all know means what? Would the Lord have used that? Would you when sitting with him if you had the chance in your home?
I don't know what ones have said to you. All I hear is wrath and vulgarity from your post. Would the Lord have done that? Do you think that would make unbelievers turn around?
I would start within on loving God and yourself in your home.

I don't think after reading the Bible you can be angry at Jesus. You could and in most cases would be correct to be angry with Religion. Religion has abused people behind a mask of the true message.

God is love,of course, but have we the human race done anything to earn this love,or claim it.We want it always to flaunt before others look see what privileged person I am.The Bible certainly assures us blessings and care by god but also demands certain things from our side too, which we foolishly ignore.Even the so called leaders of christianity does not follow bible so they are not leading a christian life. And your words prove you too are not willing to lead a good christian life as required in the bible.

I have read quite a lot of it, and I am not angry at the Bible per se, but when I first discovered it was flawed -full of errors and contradictions - was was angry, mostly at the people and religious groups that I felt had deceived me. The Bible is just a book. It is senseless to be angry at a book. No smarter than to be angry at a rock one has stubbed their toe on. It was not the rock's fault they did that. It was just there. If they had been watching where they were going, it wouldn't have happened.

You would have had me if only you wouldn't have used so many fake curse words in your question.
And oh, you're about to hear that most Atheists HAVE read the Bible. It's a sad fact that many Atheists can quote the Bible better than some Christians can.
It's not a matter of knowledge (lean not on your own understanding) it's a matter of heart, of what you choose to believe in.

Actually, I think you'll find that the atheists on here are more likely to have read the Bible cover-to-cover than the theists - who often seem shocked when disagreeable bits of scripture are pointed out. But electronic concordances can make anyone look like an theologian.
But I've yet to meet an anti-evolutionists on here who has the slightest clue how evolution works - or even knows that cosmogony and abiogenesis are different subjects.

I can't see any sign in your question that you've ever read the Bible.
This is just shallow drivel tacked onto a bigoted assumption that everyone who disagrees with you does so because of ignorance. In fact it is the people who accept the Bible without question whose position is based in ignorance, not those of us who question it. Countless questions and answers here have made that abundantly clear.

God is love - that's why he sent bears to kill 42 kids for making fun of a bald guy. That's why he murdered babies. That's why he drowned kittens.
I think you'll find the anger is directed not at your fictional god, but at his very real followers.
