One of the best treatments is to get deep tissue massage therapy. If you do this on a regular basis you will find the symptoms lesson.

A hot bath for 30 minutes with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts before bedtime will relax the muscles And get you through the night in comfort.

Chamomile Tea is wonderful for relaxing the body. Drinking this in the evening will make for a better night's sleep. I also recommend 500mg of calcium and magnesium twice daily. These minerals are usually missing and this can cause a lot of muscle pain.

Sorry you are experiencing this, I'm sure it's hard to live with.
I found a couple of good articles - links below - they mostly seem to point to Magnesium, Vitamin E, Folic Acid and Iron for supplements. I'll bet the Magnesium and E work great. My hubby has had horrible nighttime leg cramps for years and since he started using the Mag and E, he's stopped needing quinine. I think it's because those minerals are missing in our modern diets to a great extent.
They also suggest cutting out caffeine entirely and ( don't know your age ) if you can, have wine before bed.
Hope something in there helps.
Peace.
