find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

First off, dont stress! we all put on weight as we get older.
You can soon loose the weight, just eat healthy, please dont do these fad diets that everyone will tell you about, they are just a quick fix and unhealthy and once you stop you will pile the weight back on.
Cut out the fat and sugar from your diet. Have you changed your way of eating since a year ago?
Eat plenty of fruit and veg, lots of water and eat 3 meals a day, watch your portion sizes, eat a healthy snack in between meals to keep your metabilisim going such as an apple.
You will also need to excersize, atleast 4 times a week. You will soon see the results i promise.

Exercise plays a very important role in a person's weight.
You will have to set up a regular or if not regular atleast 3 days a week exercise routine & include the various weight loss exercises which i think you might search on google or in a book. You can also choose to use staircase instead of going by lift in ur apartment.
besides this your diet also is important. You should not starve yourself in order to lose weight. Because this also increases one's weight due to the fact that lot of gas settles inside the body. Have proper balanced diet, try to avoid high calorie food or fatty foods like potato chips, etc.
Yoga & meditation can help you a lot in this (through my experience). Meditation when done with affirmation (for weight loss) will definitely help you lose weight as much as you want.

Eat more. Sounds stupid but the more you eat, small portions of course, the more your body's metabolism works to burn fat since you are giving it a steady diet.
Also eating about 6 whole hard-boiled yolk-less eggs at every morning meal a day is a BIG key. Trust me. No pasta, no bread and have longer rest periods between your workout days so your body can recoup and adjust.
All of this, followed properly, will guarantee at least a 8-10lbs drop your first week then your body will adjust and it should be 3-5 lbs every week thereafter.
You will plateau so dont be discouraged.. follow the program and give your body patience to make its adjustments to the meals and workouts.

lots of cardio, running is gud place 2 start. make sure u do some arobic exersice aswell 2 keep body toned. do at least 40mins of cardio n 20mins arobic exersice. 5 days a wek. if tht dnt work, i dont know wht will
