My husband used to buy low fat or fat free (I'm not sure which since I don't eat it) yogurt and this week discovered that it has 14 grams of sugar in it. (That and all of the other junk in it.) I sat next to him yesterday while he ate breakfast, and I could smell the strawberry. It seemed almost artificial to me. I'll stick with the fresh frozen strawberries in the freezer and mix it with soy milk in a smoothie.

The apple is good, but I would also reccomend a whole grain and protein, like toast and maybe some peanut butter. My breakfasts usually contain cold cereal with soy milk and later in the morning, when I get hungry again, but it's too early for lunch, I'll have some fruit.

I hope this helps.

I would beef it up a bit. Breakfast should be a pretty substantial meal. You're taking in a lot of simple carbs, which will provide you a quick source of energy, but there is nothing listed that will give you sustained energy. Try oatmeal, or some other type of bran. Watch the cereals, which can be loaded with extra sugars and preservatives. A source of protein would be great as well.

Sounds like a good breakfast, you could also mix in some granola for a slower digesting energy source, and possibly mixing in some ground flax seed (a great omega fatty acid source) which would keep you full a little bit longer and is good for heart health.

Add this salad, it's made from negative calories ingredients with dressing too. By eating it basically you will lose calories since your body needs more calories to digest it

Ingredients:

100 grams of cucumber, peel the skin and cut off the edge, slice it thinly
50 grams of lettuce, chop it and clean it
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1 clove of garlic, clean it and chop it
salt and pepper to season
half of tomatoes, diced
a leaf of wholegrain bread

Dressings:

1/4 cup of low fat plain yogurt
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of oregano powder
2 tablespoons of cider oil vinegar
1/2 cup of light mayonnaise

Instructions:

Mix all the dressing ingredients and chill it. Also mix the salad ingredients and chill it in the refrigerator.
