Every other or third day depending on how quickly it gets greasy.
Never was it each day as it just stimulates the glands and produces more oil. The more you wash it the more you will need to. If you could ever bear to leave your hair for weeks on end it would eventually naturally clean itself.

You should change your shampoo too as it helps stop build up on your scalp. Also don't use dandruff ones unless you suffer with that problem.

I vary what I use. At the moment it is an Avon one but I also like L'Oreal. I prefer Flex conditioner but it is so hard to get hold of so normally resort to an Avon kids one as it is the only one that actually untangles my hair.

As often as you think it needs it.

My hair is very fine, when I kept it short I used to wash it daily in the shower, using a very mild baby shampoo. Now I have longer hair, I wash it every 3 or 4 days, or longer. I have been trying the Dove Pro Age - not sure my hair looks any thicker, but it certainly feels lovely. I was using Dove before this one.

I'd say if you find a shampoo that suits YOU, there's no reason to change it. Also, if you wash your hair frequently, use a shampoo for frequent use, or a very mild one.

I use Sunsilk Deeply Brunette and I do mine everyone other day. However, if you wash your hair too often, it will strip your hair of its natural oils and that not good! If its greasy, try using a shampoo (Sunsilk do a good one - Its in a blue bottle I think) and try using it everyday or every other day. I would not wash my hair more than once a day. Batisse (I think thats how its spelt!) dry shampoo is also useful for greasy or oily as it absorbs the oil and keeps hair smelling and feeling fresh. You just spray that one from the can, massage it in and brush it out.

I have short pixie hair and I wash it every day as it just looks shinier, and also I use a fair bit of wax in it to hold the choppy style so it needs to be washed often. I guess as I get my hair cut every 4-6 weeks it doesn't damage it too much, all the "old hair" gets chopped off every time. I use the Aussie shampoos, they smell a bit dodgy but I like what they do for my hair.

It's good to change around with shampoo's. If you just keep using the same shampoo over and over again, your hair is going to look damp. My girlfriend told me this...she's a hairstylist for Regis Hair Salons. She told me Aussie, Suave, Head and Shoulders, and Panteen are all good. Everybody's hair is different, so it's hard to say which one is the best. It's also not necessary to wash your hair everyday...this can lead to hair lose. Every other day like you mentioned is good, even if your hair looks greasy. It's natural! Let me tell you this...I noticed my girlfriend uses Suave a lot in the salon she works at and her customers like it. It makes your hair look thicker. I hope this helps!

I would wash you r hair at least 2 to 3 times a week. I would reccomend a good shampoo which suits your hair type and a a good conditioner. WHEN WASHING HAIR YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE YOU MASSAGE THE SCALP WHILST WASHING YOUR HAIR... iT WILL REMOVE THE GREASE ETC... AND WILL STIMULATE THE HAIR FOLLICLES.. my hair is very similar to yours but many shampoo dry my hair out to much so i tend to stick to elvie shampoos and i use aussie miracle conditioners.
When i apply the conditioner i mainly put the conditioner to the ends, as too much up top near scalp can cause your hair to go greasy near roots. Hope this is helpful !but i think it is trial and error.

once every two days is good enough, or everyday.. basically depends on the kinda hair u have.. i too have oily hair n wash it every second day, that way my hair gets jus enough natural moisturising but my scalp doesn get greasy. i condition only my hair tips as the rest of the hair volume gets the natural oils.. i use Johnson n Johnson, its mild.
also u shud be cautious of the exposure to dirt cos dirt gets easily stuck on oily hair and damages the hair.. my best friend has dry hair and washes his hair daily n uses a really good conditioner, wash off n leave on..he uses L'Oreal Anti-frizz...
changin shampoos help ever so often.. at times even i use anti- dandruff shampoo but its really chemically strong so i use it less often.

Once a week unless you work a profession that gets your hair very dirty sooner. It will be a little greasy at first, but use a boar bristle brush and give your hair 100 strokes a day. It will be soft, supple, and shiny. Head and Shoulders is not good for your hair. I use only Nexus brand products. It is a salon brand for the best conditioned hair you can have. I've been using it since the brand started. My fine, thin hair is down to my hips, and it is in excellent condition -rare for fine, thin hair.
