I know people who go to spiritialist chuches and are convinced they get communication, I did once but it was all very vague and generalised.

I am a Spiritualist and a medium
so have had lots of evidence
I will be honest though , most of the best readings I have had have been private readings and not the ones from church
however , at church they have a time limit and cant work the way they would on a one to one basis
I have also given readings , and the feeling is amazing
when you are describing someone you dont know , and the person you are telling has to come back a week later to tell you that she checked with photos and other family members and everything was correct .... I love that kind of evidence
because if the person you are reading doesn't know , and they have to check later on ... that rules out some of the cold reading tactics that people are so quick to say is happening

I had a lady at my class that i run last week , she got spirit for the first time , and described in detail the events of a funeral
including a marble effect coffin , the pipers and flutes , the Lion Rampant flag draped over the coffin etc ... it was far from vague

This morning I encountered a nutter on the train shouting about Jesus (just to clarify, it wasn't because he was shouting about Jesus that he was a nutter, but he was one nevertheless). One of his inane claims was that only unbelievers cry when someone dies, because Christians know there is an afterlife. What, no-one ever cries at a Christian funeral?

Of course there is no proof. I dont know if there ever could be proof.

All the people saying that God's word is proof are mistaken because there is no proof that it actually is God's word. Plus there is no proof that God is omnipotent. There is no proof that God cannot lie.

What basis is there to the theory that God cannot lie? because he SAID so? Think about it....if he could lie....he might tell you he couldnt lie

The proof is in The Word of God that is True and infallible. Faith is all one needs once they have Jesus in their life and The Holy Spirit indwelling them to give understanding and guidance and joy. After this, we christians are very convinced and need no further proof. God bless

Just because there is an afterbirth doesn't mean there must be an afterlife too.

PS: I finally realized what the name "Connie" means: "One who has been conned."

And to Timmy B and Wanzanna: What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

Yeah, I had that, too.

I know if it was possible for the dead to communicate with the living, at least 2 of my relatives would have got in touch somehow. I don't believe in it.

I believe there is an afterlife, just not one like what any book or so-called prophet says it's like.

What we having is bible: God's words..never he is telling us your having life after died...but Jehovah's God..his name is Jehovah(meaning the one who created everything) or the ony God...Allah means God...
Now having God's words., if you read ., after he through Adam and Eve from paradis heart., he promessed he will re-establish paradise on heart...old things are gone he said.. and he told us., his people will remind on hearth the rightius one., the good one..and those who lost their life., the last one will come first..and if we understand well....
the weel will turn oppositly,, they died will comeback,, and not with same body,,but he said you will recongnise you..the people instead to die., will come back to life,, and we will get them., will be only joy and happyness...this is the promess he did and we can coumpt on it absolutely.

But the devil knows he had a very short period to try to get each of us ..all of us...making people beleaving all kind of things...and soo many predicators...(devil's works) preaching all kind of story to get people n their trap...
nooooo after died it's notting else..he said he will remember us and this is it....he said you return in dust and this is it..,
the God's words...this is the only prevail...dont listen those devils info and trying to get you out of God's will...

Yes ., they having communciation with something,, some people(devilsssss their more than one devils..beleave me)
what they wont do to get you lost..and trying to find solutions by those craps....stay in fait with God..dont let the devil driving you toward such predication or churches trying to get lot of people $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
stay away from them,,, just be simple and trust God's words not people words...this is garbage.

Look up on the internet a man called Ian Mccormack, he died and visited both hell and heaven (he wasn't a christian when he died but was after meeting Jesus.) And spiritualists think they are contacting the dead but are actually communicating with clever demons, this is why trying to contact the dead is against what God wants for us.
