No. You love a person for their details, for the little things that make them who they are. You can't see those on first sight.

yes ,i believe in love at first sight. This is why there's usually an emotional condition whereby a person feels a romantic attraction for a stranger at first encounter.quick glance, a friendly smile - sometimes it clicks immediately between two persons. Other people, it takes a bit longer to fall in love.

In fact, a recent study published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships showed that the first few minutes of meeting someone has a huge influence on the course the relationship will ultimately take. (Which explains why you know before the drinks come that your "just perfect for you" blind date is a no-go, or that hunky online hottie has definite possibilities.)

i think for men, love at first sight is almost impossible, it is so easy for us guys to mistake lust for love. but for women, it is much easier, as less women lust at first sight than men. my girl is the perfect example - she told me months after we met that when she first met me she knew i was 'the one' and she could imagine us being married after knowing me for just a few minutes. sounds like love at first sight to me...

It happens somtimes. We like some people when we see for the first time. There is no basis for it.First it is attraction, then admiration and then acceptance. The underlying current of sex cannot be ignored as it between opposite sex. There is no platonic love as such except in the minds of poets.

yes you can have a strong physical attraction to someone you have only just met and some would call this love
love to me is a much different emotion its full of respect and trust and adoration that can only come from knowing a person over a certain amount of time
