I live in East Houston, near Highway 90. I need a place that is close and gives cheap, but professional quality haircuts. Any suggestions?

Honestly, not scarcastically, you either get cheap, or you get best.
I don't know east Houston, but look for Great Clips or another chain hair salon. They will have hairdressers that can at least do the job. If you are willing to save up the money, start looking for an avant gard salon or salon-spa. That's where you'll find the Best.

I am about to move to the clear lake area, more specifically, seabrook, tx. It's a nice quaint little city minutes away from the beautiful kemah boardwalk. So in my opinion, the clear lake area is the best area, especially if you dont mind living around water. My uncle lives in league city (also part of clear lake area), and his neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. He's lived there for 30 years and has no complaints or problems with the crime. People are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is great. School district is wonderful out there. However, you will pay a little bit more for rent, but I promise it's worth it. I would stay away from the baytown area for sure and downtown houston. While my fiance works in baytown, living out there is not really desirable because of the crime rate. You know, everyone has their opinion as to what the best area is, but the only way you will know for sure is if you write down the good areas that were mentioned the most and visit them for yourself. I can gurantee that unless you visit certain areas, such as the clear lake area, you'll never know how truly nice it is.
