God whispers to us in the silence of the desert, in the silence of the forest, in the silence of our hearts. Turn off the radio, get out of the city and go to a quiet place if you really want to hear Him.

There should be no 'if' for God's existence, because He exists.
God is real, and He loves you (even if you are the most naughty child in the world, or the most wicked adult). He knows all your weaknesses and struggles, and even if you go wrong (even in a big way) He still loves you. What He does not love is the wrong you have done – but He still loves you. He will never ‘turn His back’ on the person who is sorry and asks for help to be put right again – never! Even if everyone else does, and nobody else understands, He does, and He will never leave you even if you leave Him from time to time.
If u mean, He is quite about the calamities in ur life or the sickness of a loved one or anything like that, He is testing you, and in the sight of God, there is huge reward for patience. And He has given you everything, which u urself didn't ask and u didn't know how much precious and valuable they are. For example, He gave u all parts of the body and u realised it lately, that they are important than money.
Plz click on the following site, if u wish to know baout God's existence:

May God guide u to the Right Path.

Man! I used to think the very same thing! I thought, If God spoke to people long ago, why not now? Why did God stop?"
The truth is, He/She hasn't stopped. A book I read said anything you ask God (or The Universe) is answered. All you have to do is learn to listen. Answers come from everywhere (books, songs, children, movies, sudden thoughts…). I found this to be Very True. You just have to open your mind and pay attention.
To be honest, Love, God is not quiet at all. We just quit listening. We became too 'smart' to listen. There are more things present than we realize, but with all our science and intellect, we no longer believe.
People speak of God, Allah, Buddha, or a Universal Spirit. Personally, I believe they are all one and the same. If you really want to know, ask for help with your doubts. Ask for proof and trust that God will answer. If you don't believe, well, try anyway and keep an open mind. You'll be surprised in the results.

Quiet is spelled wrong..... Could you explain what you mean by quiet? Are you speaking in reference to a situation that you are going thru? There are multiple books on this thought. Minister Joel Osteen has written one as well as the author of the "Purpose Driven Life", and also, Minister T.D. Jake. What we as people view as God's quiet time is in actuality our time of growth. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. He created Adam and Eve and gave them dominion over the earth.... God gave dominion of this earth to Adam and by the deception of the serpent (Lucifer, a fallen angel) Adam disobeyed God and opened the door to corruption/sin. In doing that Adam gave his dominion in part over to Lucifer/Satan. When God gives us something He releases it and allows us to govern it. If we misuse it or give it away God doesn't run up and take it back.... He is orderly. I could go into detail but I think that you are going Thur something and you need an answer from God. when I pray and ask God about a situation and His response is silence I realize that it is my time to stand. If I ask my mother a question and she says nothing..... As we all know that silence is an even greater response to what she wants me to do......

Maybe it's all a scheme to get you to believe in the devil. Or maybe it is simply because there is no such thing as god. Since not the slightest evidence has ever been found to support the existence of any sort of god, the answer should be obvious.

The best answer I can provide based on the "evidence" we have is a probability.
He is waiting for the next Bronze Age to happen so he can appear again to a select few desert nomadic preachers.

I think you mean "quiet"
the hebrew god (i.e. people's ideas about "Him") was based on the Greek gods, especially Zeus. The gods stopped interacting with humans around the time of the sack of Troy. For the Israelites, their god stopped interacting with them around the time the last books of the OT were written.

Dear LibBuster,
God has spoken clearly through His Word (the Bible).
God has spoken through Creation (there are times you can just look at the ocean, look at the mountains, look at how nature interacts, and even look at how complex the human mind and body is and see that their is an intelligent Creator behind it and not just "random chance" (ie: Big Bang).
God also speaks through people.
And so i think these are just some simple examples of how God has conveyed his message of love to people-- and the issue is really that many have chosen to not listen...
Hope that helps. Kindly,
Nickster

Maybe God isn't what has been taught to many of us. Maybe God speaks a language that we have lost touch with.

Quiet? No so. God speaks to us every day. We just get too busy to listen.
