She has a couple churches. I went to one in Renton, WA. I believe she has a Catholic background, but I'm not sure. I think she's more spiritual than "religious." She follows her own path that she found with the help of her spirit guides and 'gift.'

Strangely enough, frauds of her type are often religious in a very odd way. Sylvia has gypsy ties, and gypsies are consummate con artists - some of the original "psychics" were gypsies, and of course they read palms, tell fortunes, etc. But they also pray to Saint Sarah and some others for protection - they believe that in return for their having to live as outcasts for centuries, God gave them the right to steal from the gentiles (as they call non-gypsies) and as long as they pray and give offerings, their thievery will be condoned and protected.
So there's little doubt that Sylvia, who has made a show of being a believer, is in fact religious in the perverted sense of her ancestral heritage.

Yes, Sylvia Brown is religious. She was raised Catholic (even taught at a Catholic school for a while), but she now is more of a gnostic than anything (gnostic means seeker of truth). She has her own group of churches (The Society of Novus Spiritus) that she started based on her findings through the years of her work. Sylvia Browne is a loony that happened to be in the right place at the right time to get famous. I doubt that she believes a quarter of the stuff she says.

some human beings have a extra robust psychological ability, and that helps them to experience with their minds all the cool (and demonically terrifying) issues that lie previous the attain of standard human ability. This 6th experience, the means to discover spirits, is one difficulty that would not be defined by applying organic tactics. you spot, in a fashion, the concepts is quite like the anchor that holds the spirit to the physique. without it, the spirit floats away, like a balloon after the guy we could pass. it is a stable analogy, and it even applies to the actuality that if the balloon is crammed with the helium of Jesus' salvation, it is going to decide on the flow into Heaven, to be with God, yet whilst it fairly is crammed with the traditional human breath, which has CO2, it is going to cave in to hell. The concepts is quite like the rope on that balloon, and no rely if it fairly is long adequate, then it ought to grow to be entangled with different ropes, and it ought to touch different floating or sinking balloons.

Is she a smoker?
If she is a psychic, shouln't she have seen what her lungs must look like by now.
She sounds very ill, she runs out of breath alot, and her voice is very hoarse.
She needs to take better care of herself.
