Sometimes. When we are In Love, we tend to be blind and think all of our partners thinkings and doings are wonderful. This changes when children arrive and the passion in the relationship grows into something stronger. Then, depending on the person's level of faith, it can be a problem if religion is not discussed before hand and agreed upon (for two partners of different religions.)

depends though i would say that if religion mattered so much you wouldn't fall in love with someone whose religion caused a fundemental issue in you being together - truth is it's significance in a relationship can sometimes only occur when planning a wedding or deciding how children should be educated if not obvious from the start through family and friends etc -- that said people convert so love can conquer all !

It shoulden't, but some religions prohibit marriage out side of their religion, and others have conditions like prental consent which could afect ones ability to have a relationship with the one they love. So it really depends on the religion and the familys involved. I mean if their religion prohibited them from marying you then why would you let your self fall in love? on the other hand I know alot of couples who have difrent religious belifes but are still happy together.

Religion does not matter in love.

Unfortunately, yes. Any sort of disagreement of long standing can be corrosive to a relationship, and religion is high on the list (along with money). This does not preclude a relationship with religious differences from working, but it makes it notably more difficult.

No. My fiance used to be a satanist and now he's a christian, and I'm an atheist. We love each other more than life itself.

Edit: we've also known each other for 7 years and been together for 4 years and we live in different countries, but we are still faithful to each other. I'll be moving there this August.

Yes!
love is for God alone
if you love your wife and its not for God then
its lust and not love.
would you love your wife if she was ugly. No! but if its for love of God then you will love her and treate her well.

if you love your wife for love of God then you will take care of her, keep her happy and .....
vice versa.
in the same way you love your parents, respect them treat them kindly.
