"1-Original Sin:The woman was always seen as a temptress. From Eve who tempted Adam, till current days."
False. The serpent (Satan) is the tempter, not Eve. The Bible only states that she gave some to Adam, too, and not that she tempted him.
"2-The obsession with "Virginity" : Virgin Marry."
That's Catholics, who do not represent the whole of Christianity.
"3- Jesus didn't love any women. His 12 apostles were all men."
Huh? Jesus loved his mother, Mary Magdalene, the woman at the well (with all the husbands), etc. And what does his having male apostles have anything to do with him loving women? Are you trying - very ineptly if you are - to suggest that he was gay?
"4- A monk or a nun can not marry nor have sex. Why? How does that make them unholy or keep them far from God?"
As I understand it, they have sacrificed those things not because they are unholy, but because they are seeking a higher purpose in life.
"5-Contraception is sinful."
Only to Catholics.
"6-Masturbation is sinful."
Actually, the main focus of this is the lustful thoughts that accompany it.
"7-Premarital sex is sinful."
Yes, because God ordained sex to be something shared between a husband and wife.
"I think Christiniaty degrades women, way more than Islam."
Except that Christians don't kill women for sexual sins like Muslims do. Additionally, Christians don't demand that women - all women - wear body- and face-obscuring robes under penalty of death.
In fact, an entire book of the Bible is devoted to God's plan for sex between a husband and wife. Read Song of Soloman sometime. Steamy stuff!

Just so you know, A few of those examples (4 and 5, at least) are examples from catholicism, which is NOT the same as Christianity.
And, the last 4 examples deal with both men and women.
As for the apostles, men are closer to God.
Now, as for the "obsession" with virginity. What the heck? Are you serious? If you've read the bible, which obviously you haven't, you'd see that Jesus was perfect, therefore had to be born in a sinless manner (no sex).
That all ya got? Best to think on these kind of things more before you post them.

I think society today degrades sex more then any religion.
Sex is something between 1 man and 1 women who are married. Anything outside of that only brings confusion, I.E bastard children, disease, broken hearts, which leads to bitter divorces and break ups and cause financial decline. Now that is degrading. Why wouldn't anyone in their right mind just listen to their creator and avoid all this? Because every generation of mankind thinks they know whats best and continues the cycle over and over. As far as contraception, again Gods command for Adam and Eve still stands today for us "be fruitful and multiply". I would not say the bible is obsessed with virginity only that it is highly esteemed because the opposite would imply she is a whore. Whores are not to be obsessed of. God did not say you have to be single to serve him, you can be a priest and be married.
1Ti 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

God made our bodies to enjoy sex. Have you read the Song of Solomon? It will make you blush, it's quite romantic. Catholics believe contraception is wrong, and that nuns and monks should not marry. Other Christians do not follow that. Jesus did love women. He spent much time with his friends Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. The women who came to embalm him were his folowers. Adultery wrecks God's plan for marriage. In fact He says he hates divorce, but even Christians know sometimes divorce is necessary. Surveys show that married Christians rate highest on satisfaction with their sex life. We think of sex as a gift to our spouse, and vice-versa, that the 2 become as one, and we enjoy sex the same as anybody, but just with our spouse.

Original sin occurred when Adam & Eve partook of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The virgin Mary was selected by God as the person through whom Jesus would be conceived & born because it added meaning to the idea of living a pure life.
Men were selected to be apostles because it is God's intent that men be the spiritual leaders of their households.
In the New Testament it states that those who can refrain from sex are better off to remain unwed because to take a wife means to need to take focus off of God, quite a bit, to see to the welfare of his wife. But those that cannot seem to be able to refrain from sex should get married.
If one is having sex, then one must accept the responsibilities of one's actions, which may mean children.
I know that in the Old Testament it states that when a man spills his seed (ejaculates), he must wash himself and will be considered unclean until the evening.
Going back to the point about Mary, we are to live lives that are as pure as possible & to have premarital sex just takes away from that level of purity. In addition, to have premarital sex with the one whom you are engaged, caused spiritual chaos that must be reckoned with before the couple is married.
As far as Islamic women go...... how do you think they feel about having to cover their faces when they are in public?
Also, today there are many Christian women who are in ministry, but how many Islamic women even DARE to lead worship in their faith????

because it is a set of beliefs based on the ancient writings of very conservative old Jewish men.
islam is way more degrading in the real world, women aren't allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia! And if a woman gets raped, in some places, she gets punished for it. And they can't go out in public without a man. And all over, women can't be left alone with a man they aren't married to.
At least in christianity, Enlightenment ideas have protected against the really backward stuff. What a world if not for that, if it even still existed!

The judeo-christain conservatism around sex is a combination of two factors, both dating to before when the Hebrew people was monotheistic. When they branched off from the other Mesopotamians, El (later Yahweh) was accompanied by Asherah, his ambitious female consort. Asherah reigned over worldly matters, including hearth, love and offspring. When Asherah became too popular, the priests of El massacred all at the Asheran temples and seized power, forbidding her recognition ever again, and much of Hebrew culture was lost in this coup.
Some of this is still seen in mosaic law, for example, the separation of meat and cheese in Kosher food preparation comes from the Asheran practice of boiling a calf in the milk of its mother, as part of wedding rites in Her name, now made forbidden.
Asherah didn't go down without a fight, though, as her omission created great vacuums in Hebrew culture. There are, hence, periods in the old testaments, when kings were put to death right and left, for worship of Asherah, even if only in secret. As a result, the whole Hebrew myth is devastatingly harsh towards women, depicting them commonly as cunning and deceptive, even placing Eve as the vehicle of Adam's (and mankind's) eviction from paradise. It is no surprise that all important female figures have been suppressed.
This misogynistic attitude continues through to Christianity, though not necessarily by Jesus' doing. Jesus' abstinence from love is only assumed through omission. Not all apostles are acknowledged even in the current era of new archaeological findings, nor are all gospels, especially those found anew in recent times, regarded as sacred. Many of Christ's attitudes were too revolutionary for His own era, and hence were lost to the agendas of chroniclers. Even the sanctity of Mary, the virgin mother of Christ was ignored entirely until Eleanor of Aquitaine revitalized interest in romance through the Court of Love. The Church yanked the virgin Mary out as a contender to this renewed popularity of worldly affairs.
The other factor restricting sexual freedom is the universal need for greater numbers. Until the industrial age, all peoples and all cultures were long on work and short on workers. Only in the era of manufacturing have children become more of a burden to urban parents than a blessing, with this shift in attitude did interest in contraception become widespread.
Masturbation was prohibited due to a belief that a man's seed were in limited supply, and traditional morals are not adjusted to suit newer science.
Not one well versed in Islam, I cannot say which is the more oppressive of the rights of women, but since both in common stem from ancient traditions of misogyny, neither would prove a good source from which to model a culture of gender equality.

i dont think sex is a bad thing, it is a basic and VERY natural instinct. Women and Men are genetically designed to want one another and mate and carry on their genes to the next generation. Culture, society, and religion play a very important role in changing, or dementing that basic instinct in alot of the worlds population. but think about this, do animals other than humans have problems with sex?? Other than language and brain capacity, what changes humans from other creatures? We still have the very same basic needs as any other life form, Food, Water, and SEX.

I disagree with approximately 0.5 of what you declare, yet i visit assert that we do, in certainty, have an unnatural attitude approximately intercourse for a solid reason. we at the instant are no further organic. The organic guy passes away and is replaced with the aid of the the non secular guy, style of like possession. particularly of residing like the animals we developed from, we are residing like the God that calls us on previous the mere organic.
