I keep on hearing it all the time,I live with nothing but girls so I hear this alot. How long should I wait before we have sex? Then they look at me and ask the same question. Well my point of view if you give it up too fast then your pretty easy( No ofense). I would rather have a girl make me wait atleast 3 weeks or more. Hell I've waited 6 months before she gave in. so my question is this, so I can get these damn girls to leave me alone.

How Long should you wait to have sex in a new relationship?

That varies from person to person. Whenever both you and your consenting partner are ready, then it's time. For some people, it's okay after the first few dates...For others, it takes months. It really depends on the level of comfort you share with the other person, with yourself and your expirience.

I waited only a few months before having sex for the first time. It was when we were comfortable with eachother, we both new it was time.

Lets be blunt and go to the heart of this question and answer . It depends on if it is just someone you want to have sex with a few times ( then 3 dates ) or will they be in your live a long time ( then you wait for the right time to say "hey I think it's time we moved this to the next level ) when you rush into it it's never going to end up good .

I feel that you will know when the time is right.
Sex does get in the way. I think you should wait a month or two and really get to know her personally, make her feel special, and just be there emotionally. The sex is better if you wait anyways.

Personally I feel you should not have sex in a new relationship until there is a commitment, engagement, or marriage. Since I've failed at the marriage thing, I personally will date for two years before i think of engagement,

While this has not always been what i have done in life, I have learned in life what not to do.

A lot of girls brag for succeeding on making a guy wait for 6 months, but that is ridiculous....Six months, that's all their worth, they trade their souls for only six months. Many people think that it's not a big deal, but what they fail to realize is that a virginity is irreplaceable.
If a person takes your food, you'll be hungry but you can find food elsewhere.
If a person takes your home, you'll be homeless but you can find shelter elsewhere.
But if a person takes your virginity, you can never replace it. You lose your purity and soul at the same time. And every time you give you give "it" up, you lose a piece of your soul that you can never regain.
A box of cracker jacks has plenty of peanuts and popcorn, but there's only one prize. Please don't be the peanuts or the popcorn. Be the prize.

My personal opinion is that it is best to wait until both people are ready...don't get me wrong, I love sex, but I'm just not looking for that kind of relationship. I think its best to wait at least a couple of months to make sure that you are going to have a relationship based on everything but sex.

A lot of guys would like to have your problem.

I personally think premarital sex is a bad idea, but it is a personal decision. If you and your partner (aka "girl") decide to have sex it should be when you are both ready and willing.

You may want more commitment than you have been getting, so why not forget about sex and shoot for commitment? A lot of women really want commitment more than they want sex. Just a thought.

I'm waiting for marriage, so i'm probably not much help to you! but thinking about it since obviously you guys aren't =] i don't think that it should be something that is planned out. Their isn't like a certain time in the relationship. I think when the "time is right." and I'm sure it will be different with each different relationship. hope i helped..

If it's someone you already knew well, two weeks. If it's someone really new, at least a month, and then only if you go on two or more dates every week. With a lot of tension and attraction and anticipation built up, it will be much more passionate and memorable than some drunken first date screw fest
