I'm now in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. I have an account in the Bank of China. How can I transfer money to another account in the Philippines? Are there any Western Unions here in Hangzhou?

you can probably do it through the Bank of China, or they may have a branch in Manila, Western Union http://locator.westernunion.com/AgentLocator/channelHtml/AgentLoc.do?method=search

You need to do a bank transfer OR a Western Union transfer. If you're in Hangzhou, why don't you know if there's a Western Union store there? If you know the complete account number and the full name and address of the bank in the Philippines, it will probably take a week for a transfer to get there. It does not need to be a Bank of China branch. If you're going Western Union, you have to have the exact address of the WU store in the Philippines where the money is to be sent. I've done lots of bank transfers from Canada to the Philippines.

Western Union is your best bet - there is one at:

西联汇款
杭州市西湖区
玉古路157号

Here's a link to its exact location on Google Maps (ditu):
