The slander he heaped upon Ryan White, the teenage hemophiliac who became the first person to contract AIDS from a blood transfusion, that poor girl he raped? How many countless people suffered because of him lobbying against AIDS research, claiming it was a punishment from God for sinning? People on here are saying he was a human being--I challenge you to prove it! A monster has died, a beast with less compassion than the average wolverine--let the world rejoice!

I'm suffering because he died, even if that might sound weird.

I had never heard of Jerry Falwell, until today. It seems he was important, so I started to read about him. I can't imagine the horror I had to read. What a monster indeed.

So, my suffering was only that I had to read all that crap. I can't even begin to imagine how many people he must have hurt.

My grandfather faught and died for my right on freedom of speech. Seeing how people like Falwell abused that same right of freedom of speech, I'm sure my grandpa sometimes feels sad he even bothered.

I don't get all these Christians, with the don't speak ill of the dead, Why? He was an evil bastard, I said it when he was alive and I will continue to say it. Used his religion like a big club, and I should feel sorry for him? Glad he is gone.

A big purple Teletubby for one...actually Jerry Falwell was misogynistic, racist, and homophobic all rolled into one...did you know that his father and grandfather were atheists? Wonder where they went wrong?

"Answer by CJ :Perhaps you could bury your agenda for a moment, and have some basic humanity and respect the dead."

Just wonder if CJ and other fundamentalist who have the same answer, respected Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Juan Peron, etc, etc... when they died?
Falwell was the same breed.

His rights and wrongs are for God to decide. And God will decide righteously. As for you.........you might want to square your life away........because in time......you will be where Jerry Falwell is. And you will be judged by God.

Perhaps you could bury your agenda for a moment, and have some basic humanity and respect the dead. Or is that too much to ask from someone like you?
