Oh, that makes sense. Believe in sky daddy first and THEN he will show himself.

But I don't believe... so it will never be revealed... and I will continue not believing... and it will continue to not be revealed.. Isn't it a vicious circle...
To believe in something before it is revealed is illogical...
I could hypocritically say I believe but that wouldn't be an answer... that would be hypocrisy..
You go right ahead believing in things hoping they will be revealed to you.. I will keep believing in things I can prove are real.. When we both die we will both know who was right and who was wrong..
Out of curiosity why do you care what I believe or don't believe? Does it in some way have a bearing on what you believe or don't believe? Is my belief so important to you? If so rest assured I am perfectly happy with my beliefs and don't want nor need to change them thank...

then how come tons of "born-again" christians describe instant conversions from non-belief? Are they lying or just stupid? it also doesn't explain why many people who start out believing never find any proof. Are they believing wrong? Or does God (Jesus) just not liek them very much?
it's just pathetic, no offense. You have to abandon all logic and reason, disregard science, then when you're at your dumbest, it'll make sense. Sounds like a cult to me.

Non-Believers:
Don't you realize that first you Have to believe in the Invisible Pink Unicorn before she will reveal Herself to you?
If you want the proof of her existence, first you have to believe.
...
Your statements are just like the ones I just made. I'm sure you think that my comments above are nonsense. Why can't you see that yours are as well?

Apparently you are a strong believer, and as such, I assume you have already received such proof. If this is the case, I would be very interested in knowing what it is, and please do not tell me that proof lies in the beauty of a sunrise, the laughter of a child or the like. I'd like to hear about solid evidence that would stand up in a courtroom and prove your case to the world without a doubt if need be.

I can't do that... it's not logical to believe something exists before you even verify its existence. It's like using a condom after you're already pregnant.
There's a logical progression of discovery that must be followed and believing before verification makes no sense.

I can easily take your idea apart in five minutes so that your last argument would be “God works in mysterious ways.” Actually your dogma says it’s the other way around anyway, and I can take that apart just as easily. Just be very happy that this is a answer once system and not a forum.

haha, well that sounds incredibly intelligent and wonderful. The scientific method put to good use.
Why don't you go get yourself an education --before you make us Christians sound any more retarded.
EDIT: Ohhh!! You're kidding. pretty good man. I thought you were like a 7th grade girl.

Do you believer realize that christianity has been responsible for more deaths throughout history than any other cause of death? Why would anyone want to follow a god that kills all his competition?

I was also a christian before an atheist.
I did years of "believing" before I realized that it was all conformist propaganda. And your God never "revealed" himself to me.....
surprise, surprise.
