What are the benefits of earning your EAWS??

in the Aviation Community, if you want to get past E6 as well as avoid being considered a lazy dirtbag by your peers..it's pretty much a necessity. they are talking of making it Mandatory during your first term to be allowed to re enlist.

It depends on what community you are in. If you're in the aviation community, I believe it's pretty much mandatory. If you're in the surface community, it's beneficial in that you get to learn more about naval aviation, the history behind it, and the capabilities of naval aircraft.
