......and what about illegal immigrants that come from latin america? Why is there so much hatred against latinos and not other illegal immigrants? Yes its illegal, they are breaking the law but the bottom line is that its racism.

I'm probably more educated than you'll ever be, I'm a lot more open minded as I can see! And its racism when you focus on one group in this case "Mexican"! Peace!

We don't want ANY illegals. I don't care where they're from, and most Americans feel the same way. Child of immigrants here. LEGAL immigrants. They did what they had to do, paid their dues, both are now citizens. They worked and put their children through college. This is the proper way to do it. Sneaking in, taking low paying jobs to send the MONEY back to thir countries is not helping this country. And that day with immigrants thing - The jobs many illegals are doing were the jobs that used to held by the elderly and teens looking to make a few extra bucks. It's not about racism at all, hon. It's about damage to this society and her purse.

Bottom line: If you're illegal - GO HOME! WhereEVER that may be.

You seem to have made up your mind already. What gave the illegal immigration its impetus is the march last year. IThe complaints I here from the streets and friends increased many fold the day after the protest. So what does that have to do with hatred for latin immigrants. Well I didn't see any other flag being flown on the may day march other than the Mexican flag. We can't hate people when we don't know there here. If you break our laws and then flaunt it, of course were going to hate you. We didn't see and Russian flags, Polish flags or anyothers. If we see someone flying a Russian flag in mass numbers in a disrespectful way, I'm pretty sure there would be alot of angry message here against the Russians.

Edit: Hey, Beau is from Australia and has invited all the illegal immigrants to go over there!!!!

Illegal immigrants from europe are a small amount compared to the ones from latin america. A large part of the problem is the amount of illegals.

There are many added expenses that go along with it. If taxpayers have to pay for signs, documents, court translators etc.. the expense is huge and latin american illegals , once again because of the amount of them, and the fact that they are more likely not to know english, is again a problem.

Go look at the most wanted criminals in any major city in the USA, not just the southwest. If hispanic people make up about 14-15% of the population in the USA then roughly about the same percentage of them should be in jails and prisons... thats if they committed crimes at the same rate as anyone else. However again, go look at the most wanted criminals anywhere, LA, Chicago, NY... a large portion of them are latin. Why? if they come to the USA just wanting to work, why are they not only committing crimes, but bad enough crimes to put them on the most wanted list.

You can call it hatred or racism but people are just sick of all the trouble from illegals cause and most of the illegals are latinos. Its as simple as that. No racism about it.

Oh plus I dont believe I have seen very many protest marches by european illegals.

It is only the Latinos that claim that EVERYONE only refer to Hispanic illegal immigrants. Those who have written good, intelligent arguments against illegal immigrants refer to all illegals, not just Hispanics. That includes illegals from Europe. It’s only the Latinos that breed like bunnies when they get here and then fall on our welfare for support. That’s probably why Latinos are sensitive about this issue.

WHATEVER the argument, illegal means illegal, no matter what country you slither in from.

No the bottom line is they are breaking the law, driving down wages, taking jobs from other Americans because they will work for less money, and were not invited to come here, they broke into my house with out permission, all countries have the right to police who comes into their country. Latin America sure dose, Illegals from Europe have no right here either, they can get in line with everyone else, and apply. I hope every dam one of them get deported. They also have no right to protest in my country, for rights they have no right to. They are the rudest illegals to ever come to this country, they are rude and their way of life sucks and they bring it with them. They hang around street corners and make our cities look like sh*t. they march and wave their stupid Mexican flag, no other illegals have ever done that. We give them an inch they take a mile, we gave amnesty in 86, all that did was encourage more to come. They need to stay home and fix their own country. They have had over 200 years to build a great nation, just as long as the United States. I guess they are incapable of doing that.

The same kind of discrimination happened to the Irish in the late 19'th century. I don't thnk racism is the issue and I'm a son of Mexican immigrants.

I think it is the same for all nationalities coming into the US. It's just that there are probably more latinos because of the proximity of the Mexican border and the economy there. God Bless!

There is a lot more to it then racism.
I don't mind immigration, unless you sneak in and take jobs at lower wages then Americans. I also resent illegal immigrants collecting welfare, it's my taxes that pay for this handout that is meant for poor Americans.
If your country is so bad, why don't you do something about it instead of running here?

Well, I would be in favour of letting the Hispanics who work stay but if they are on the streets, they are no better off than they are in their own country. I think it is more racist to ban bilingual education in Spanish and English and to oppose multiculturalism than it is to send back illegal immigrants, but I can see your point. Some of them should be allowed to stay, preferably the ones who contribute. These situations aren't black and white.

First of all mexican is not a race. Second of all the "race" thing is old...really old. If you really believe that race is behind Americans wanting illegals out of America then how do you explain the fact that mexicans want illegal Colombians out of mexico. This is just one example of how you haven't at all thought this through.
