I am a Woman, not being 18 for a long while - not too bothered about getting the Right Sex Logo next to my Thoughts. I cannot speak for a Man about a Man. It would not be proper to assume I could; to me it would be presumptious. I have no idea where they 'go' when they are sad. Let me try explaining to you, a Young Woman, about an unsaving 'mood' of what you call 'horny' & "wants to score": there is NOTHING wrong with that and I am GLAD some other Women are VERY Happy to satisfy the Horny. That is because we are made to DO it and ENJOY the Horny. I saw a Movie where an Exquisitely chiselled Young Woman decided to become A Man. It is far out for me, BUT I am somebody who likes to listen to others before I throw them out of the Window, so to speak. This Indian-American Woman turned Man did not loose his Graceful Manner. BUT as he was being metamorphised into Himself, he could not stop BEING AMAZED at the HORNY Hormones: the film catches the Elan as he is running, punching the Air with Delight.( I looked at my Husband of Decades & thought
so you feel like acrobatics in the air...OK)
Then, Brother Sun/Mars got sad...could not release something...phoned a new Brother and asked him:
"What do you do in times like this ? I cannot cry...don't know how..."
The friend replied:
"Well, do what we do: watch TV, eat Junk food."
So, Good for you for 'saving' yourself since there is no reason to apologise for your decision. Virginity is not a big deal, as long as you tell Men soon enough of your decision because they are sort of eager acrobats. I am sure they will respect you for your stance.
Another thought: a Woman's one to an 18 Year old Virgin:
1. careful your First. How does he touch ? How does he talk ? Is he patient, like REIGNING hormones like yield/take ? How good an acrobat/poet is he ? You have waited compared to others: make sure he is worth Yours.
2, Apply the same thought to WHOM you will yield when you Give Birth for the First TIME.
Be kind and not judging of Men's sexuality, I know it is invigorating and, as you will find out so is Yours - you are a swimmer of sort, well Aquatic ballet or whatever.
In the meantime, Kiss - we don't kiss enough: it should be made compulsory, and done with style.
My Husband used to kiss his young Girlfriend for the Entire Movie in the Movie House. I never would have done that at that age: too interested in the Movie !

Honestly, when I lost my virginity, my initial thought after it happened was "that's it! that's what I've been waiting for?", and mind you it was with someone I loved and who had prior experience! I mean it was all so hyped up that I was expecting it to be earth shattering and I was let down when it was just pain and awkwardness, lol. Guess what I'm trying to say is just make sure that you are really ready to do it and to do it with that person, because as cliched as it may sound, once you lose your virginity it's lost, you can't get it back. Being that you both are virgins it will probably be awkward being that neither of you will really know what to do. At the risk of sounding sleazy, maybe you guys should watch a porno movie together just to get the idea of things. And stick to missionary position, until you get into the swing of the things, it's basic yet satisfying for both of you. Get ready for some pain (the intensity depends on your threshold) and some bleeding (don't freak out, it's normal b/c of the tearing of the hymen, also don't freak if you don't see any blood, that's normal) Just take your time, if you both are absolutely positive that you want to do this, it will be speacial and memorable because it was with someone you love :) Just as I said earlier don't expect it to be the greatest of all time, it takes time to work on "feeling" each other out and discovering what works and doesn't. Enjoy!

Guys dislike you because they know they won't get in your pants. You are so right there. Girls dislike you because more than likely, they are jealous of you because they didn't have the will power to stay a virgin. They gave in to pressure. You are stronger than they are. I stayed a virgin until I was 17 and gave it up to a guy that I dated for 3 years and honestly thought I would spend the rest of my life with. But, you can't rely on that. Wait til your married. Don't worry about what other people think. Be proud of your self for doing something that is very hard to accomplish. You go girl!!!!

To be honest, most young guys today are looking for a fling. They usually look at girls who are easier, or girls who don't want a commitment. When you tell them your waiting for marriage, they get scared. Most young people maybe jealous about the fact that you still have something valuable to give a special person, your husband. And they don't. Or they are ensnared by this worlds views on sex, that it is the in thing to not be a virgin.
But believe me, you have something very special that you were given by God. This is a gift you can only give away once. So don't let any ones thinking on this matter affect your right choice. Many people today regret the fact that they rushed into sex with the wrong person, when the right person comes along. Be proud of who you are, and don't forget, the Bible does say that sex is for married couples. It is just that this corrupt world has lost many of it's moral values, and so having pre-marital sex is like nothing today. I bet their is a great guy out there who feels just like you, and is looking for someone like you to marry. Don't give up, you will find him. Just be patient.

I don't know what type of world your living in but...in my neighborhood guys love virgins, because they want to be the 1st to to get the prize. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin, everyone should value their purity.... Don't let society make you think otherwise. A lot of girls brag for succeeding on making a guy wait for 6 months, but that is ridiculous....Six months, that's all their worth, they trade their souls for only six months. Many people think that it's not a big deal, but what they fail to realize is that a virginity is irreplaceable.
If a person takes your food, you'll be hungry but you can find food elsewhere.
If a person takes your home, you'll be homeless but you can find shelter elsewhere.
But if a person takes your virginity, you can never replace it. You lose your purity and soul at the same time. And every time you give you give "it" up, you lose a piece of your soul that you can never regain.
A box of cracker jacks has plenty of peanuts and popcorn, but there's only one prize. Please don't be the peanuts or the popcorn. Be the prize.

Cause people are pathetic. They see having sex and not being a virgin as something to hold above you, and it's a sense of pride. It's a way to make them feel better about themselves because they don't have much to be happy about. Only those who have ever been truly in love can accept a persons choice for waiting until marriage. Swingers and people who do it for the thrill of lust, and just getting some will not understand and will not respect your choice because they obviously don't respect themselves.

Sometimes a will guy stay away from Virgins becuase of the emotional tie. Most girls dream of their first time as being special where most guys are just looking for a hit and run.
Some just don't want to wait forever to get it either.

You are doing the 100% right thing. But misery loves company and bad guys want to be able to score and throw you away like a dirty rag, and so they do not like virgins, because people think they should not do that to a virgin.

well, it is your choice to wait. but you cant tease the guy. you need to find a guy who feels the same way.
If you like teasing guys and then pull out your favorite "save for marraige" line...that is a potential reason a guy might dislike you.
Its not necessarily about guys "wanting to score". For some, the prospect of marriage seems so far in the future that love-making is a way one can express feelings that they are in-fact ready for marrige.
I dont think guys have problems with virgins...just self-righteous ones.

ok, 1st of all, not all of us "just want to score" I happen to be one of them...
Its not that your a virgin, its the whole saving yourself for marriage.
A good/bad sexlife has a very strong pull on a relationship wiether its the most important thing to you or not. I would like to know what im getting into before I get married to someone. I was in a very bad relationship that dragged on for over 6 years and it was the sex that kept us going. It really shouldnt have and I know better now, but that is an important thing in a relationship (definatly not the most important)
