I am near tears about weight loss! I need to lose weight but I have no help. I'm a teen and I know most people would say "It's to risky" but my doctor says I need to whip myself into shape. WHAT DO I DO?!? I can't figure anything out.... I have no one to turn too no lie. Please what can I do to lose weight to feel better about myself?

I'm sure you've heard the typical answers of change your diet, eat healthier blah blah blah. But do what works best for you. There are so many different avenues. I've tried exercise, and that naturally inclined me to eat better. After injuries that failed. Then I tried fasting. That's ok, but not a good weight loss plan. I've tried putting smoothies into my diet and that put on weight!!! Weird huh? Now I'm going boring and eating more and more veggies. Eating raw cucumbers, raw is the key factor. It helps a little after a few weeks. The bottom line/main point is to start with what you can most easily handle. Exercise,diet change,inclusion of raw veggies. Fasting to motivate you to eat better. And on the gross side... I did that colon cleanse. That motivated me to eat better. And that's working for me... so far. Good luck and pray.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
