It's called human pride. We believe we can do and be everything apart from God. If there is no God - then man determines truth - he is his own god. Evolution was a way - devised by an Atheist for people to consider how to interpret facts and evidence apart from a creator during a time when ideas about the universe were based on a belief in God. Most public schools educate children in evolutionary theory for an entire 12 years and then on into college they continue to hear it over and over - they are never given an opportunity to really think about the facts in any other way than it is given to them. What I found at about age 25 really changed my life from having confusion about what morality is and means, what kind of standard I could have for my life, people really need to be more open minded in considering the possibility of other ideas rather than just bashing them.

Theists can believe in evolution too. I do. "There is no proof for Evolution! It has to be believed, therefore it's a faith, therefore it's a religion! So they're teaching a new compulsory religion in schools" No, but there is evidence. There is also no proof for creationism nor is there much evidence. I'm not even going to address the second point. "How can ATHEISTS deny it's a religion Now? (You can't) When was the last time we saw a Useful mutation? (Never)" Again, theists can believe in evolution too. Religion: A formal, unified, and structured system of beliefs, practices and customs. There is no church of evolution, there is no evolutionist culture, there is only one belief (the belief in evolution) so it is not a formal and structured system of beliefs (note the plural). Since you are willing to give evolution some time and consideration by asking when the last time there was a useful mutation I would like to point out that if you knew anything about evolution you would notice that mutations are what lead to the evolution of humans. You could call that useful.

1. There is no such word as "scientifical" -- the word you are searching for is "scientific".

2. Evolution is an observable fact. It can be observed in that bacteria (for example) are now becoming immune to the antibiotics that once killed them. It can be observed in the fossil record. It is supported by the fact that a donkey and a horse can mate and produce a mule; demonstrating that horses and donkeys have a common ancestor.

3. All of science is built on theories. Modern medicine is based on germ theory; nuclear physics is based on atomic theory; electricity is explained through electromagnetism; and gravity is understand through the theory of gravitation. Would you refuse to take medicine because germ theory is "just a theory"? Would you go stand a nuclear test site because atomic because relativity was "just a theory"? Scientists don't name an idea a theory will-he - nill-he, theories are a theory is "a mathematical description, a logical explanation, or a proven model of the manner of interaction of a set of natural phenomena, capable of predicting future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and capable of being tested through experiment or otherwise falsified through empirical observation". It follows from this that for scientists "theory" and "fact" do not necessarily stand in opposition.

I think you miss the real point here.

Darwinism and evolution works perfectly well for all species, excluding human beings. While 99.8% of the DNA of humans is primate, we have over 12 major genetic abnormalities that are so extreme from all other primates and species that we should in theory be extinct.

The only thing that has saved us is civilization.

Now, the earliest human civilizations always believed human beings were genetically manufactured.
See: The Epic of Atrahasis, over 5000+ years old.

My real problem with your question and statement is: your argument could and should be much stronger if you just read a little bit more.

The Bible is a terrible document to try and use to explain that gods created human beings. There are so many better and much older sources.

Simple, because the theory of evolution can be backed up and argued with hard scientific facts and real tangible evidence, not a book of bronze age fairy tales which have been re-edited countless times during the course of history to suit the fancy of whatever religious hustler was in charge at the time.

well, let's think about it the other way around.

Other than god and evolution, there are thousands and thousands of theories how human came to exist.

So you believe that god created human, but people in africa may believe in another theory, people in india may have an entirely different idea, buddists believe that budda created man, muslim people have their own theory. If you do some research, you will know that people all over the world have entirely different views on the existence of human beings.

so you may quote your bible to tell us that god created men, buddist may quote their book, muslim people may quote their book. in the end, none can disapprove the others.

So among the thousands and thousands of ideas, evolution is the mostly scientific reasonable idea.

In a way, religion is like a brainwashing machine. it doesn't matter what your race is, if you were born in india, you may believe in budda, if you were born in middle east, you may believe in muslim.

many black people in the US believes in god. but the black people in africa believe in their own regional religions. They are both black people with similar genes, how can they believe in different things?

no one was 'froced" to believe in eolution, but so far, evolution is based on some solid scientific facts. it was not written in the bible, budda book, muslim book, etc.

And think about it, if god really took out a rib from Eve, and made Adam. how come women today have the same ribs as men? shouldn't every woman around the world have one less rib than the men?

The Bible , Koran and other religious books are even more unproven and people still stick to those ideologies. At least evolution provides some grounds and has some basis of fact to it I mean we can say Cavemen had existed but you can not say any Gods have.

Evolution is not a theory. It is an observable process in nature.

Theories of evolution exist to explain how it works, just as there are theories of gravity.

And how really can you expect anyone to take seriously someone who uses a word like "scientifical"?????

Since GOD is an unproven theory, why do some people force themselves to believe it as fact?
is it because they stick every possible idea that would support their disbeliefs ?
