If you are being held responsible for what he is doing and its causing you problems maybe it should be placed before your teacher. dont lend money.~~

You are in College?

Maybe I missed something in the description of your situation... are you studying outside of class with this person who's playing footsie with you (who you've become a loan shark too :), or is this a group that your teacher put you in?

If it's the latter then, welcome to the real world. Tell the other person how you feel. If you like them still as a friend, but just want to get your work done, then just say so. A friend should understand. If it's something else, like an unwanted advance, then just let them know how you feel... Get the theme here? Just Say It... while it may be hard it should be the most effective. In college, I doubt your teacher will have much to say about what goes on outside of class... You're friend can't get sent to the principal's office or held for detention...

-Good Luck

Try moving to a different seat first. If that doesn't work, tell him firmly that you don't want to play footsie and say nothing more. Finally, if that doesn't work then tell the teacher, because this is education you are paying for.

Okay, there are lots of lessons to be learned here.

1) Never lend money to someone that might not pay you back just cause you made them mad or shrugged off their advances.

2) You are too old to tattle on someone else. You're entering the real world now, and you have to start looking out for yourself.

That's all I have the patience for right now.....

No way, If you were me I would not tell the teacher because he owes you money if you tell the teacher There could be a chang in plans for him ... Example: He might not pay you the money... or .... he could show you the guilt act in which that can always be fooled by anyone... if you wont trust me then just ignore this message... ok

Well, that depends on your decision. He may or may not pay at all. Telling it to your professor might worsen the situation. So, I suggest that you talk to a guidance councilor about your situation. They can give you the right suggestions with regard to your case.

you should talk to the guy first, just tell him that he is distracting you and if he does not stop you will have to move your seat, or ask the prof to move you b/c you can no longer concentrate where you are sitting

I would just sit somewhere else or talk to your friend. Tell the teacher could really piss him off and get him in trouble.
