Ok now people are asking me why I believe in him. Its like I know someone is there. Its like you can't see him but you have a feeling he is there. My next question is do you have the feeling to? You have no clue if he is there or not you just have a feeling or something inside of you thinks or knows he is there.

ok now i'm not trying to judge anyone here i'm just wondering why some people refuse to. Is it because they think they are to good to learn something about it or what? I'm not saying that i'm perfect just because I believe in God I sin to. I have nothing agianst people who sin cause we all sin and are saved by grace only we keep sinning. I have nothing agianst human nature, i just want to know why some humans feel they don't need to know about God even though they may have heard of him.

Because he is really animalistic, think about his behavior they are just like an animals. How could such a creature possibly be all knowing and all powerful it is very evident that it is false.

Then we come to the point where multiple Gods were used in the same way your God was used, to explain the unknown. Humans have a fairly weak track record when it comes to credibility with faith.

And why not point out that there is absolutely no credible evidence nor proof.

It is hard to believe in God because I can not contort my brain in such a way to bypass these facts.

I don't know let's go ask him shall we? Does any one have his number, an address or any way to reach? I would love to sit and chat with it for a while if he's not too busy playing hide and go seek with everyone. You know he seems to never be around when you need him, oh maybe Satan throws out his messages.

Don't be surprised everyone believes about anything that they want to believe. I choose not to believe in a "supreme" being because there is no proof or evidence that they exist.

Why do you believe in god?

What is there that requires a supernatural being to do it?

(If you say 'to create the universe', then you have to tell me who created god)

Gods were created by our ancestors to explain the things that they could not explain at that time.

Since then 99% of those things have been explained. Why do you believe that the last 1% has to have a supernatural explaination when the first 99% does not?

Which one? Think of all the gods you reject. How do you know your god is the right one and not somebody else like Ra, Vishnu, or Zeus or yet another possibility a deity nobody has ever conceived of. When you understand why you reject all of these other Gods you will understand why we Atheists reject all Gods.

Why is it hard for some people to accept others who choose not to believe in God/s?

Why is it hard for some people to believe in others that do not believe in God/s?

Why is it hard for some people who believe in God/s to accept the truth that there is no God/s?

EDIT
I do not need to believe in the Easter Bunny to KNOW that he/she is NOT REAL!

I do not need to believe in anything but fact. I do not need to believe in anything but myself and the humanitarian person I am. I believe in Humanity and NOT in any Religion that constantly fights each other because they view the others perception as wrong.
What FACT and PROOF of the existence of God/s do you have outside of that little book you continue to read?

do you believe in zeus or odin, there's as much evidence for them as the biblical god. which is virtually none at all except for some holy texts. the greeks had prophets and oracles and spoke of the miraculous intervention of the gods so did the norse and germans. were they lying or was it just baloney and coincidence like all supernatural interventions. no, don't tell me ( i hear the sound of the standard get out clause), it was satan.

Because the christian description of god is designed to cause people to submit to human slavery, and make them beleive that they were born to be slaves, decreed by god himself. Further, their description of god was inspired by their need to protect the rich and their wealth, and repress the common working man as slaves.

i've always had a doubt on God's excistence and i rarely believe in him.. sometimes i just hoped that there will be no mallicious people to judge me if i'm not gonna believe in him.. i have lots of friends who dont believe in him too!.. its because, we are not satisfied with the bible and the words itself.. it doesn't make much facts.. conclusions of opinions maybe..
