veggies have little calories (e.g. carrots, lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, celery, tomatoes etc)
some people consider peas, beens, corn etc veggies also but they are not - they are legumes and have quite a bit calories
fruit have also much more calories than veggies - one cup of fruit has about 100cal and lots of sugar (fructose)

Depends on the food. Watch out for canned fruits or preserved foods- they contain many preservatives and sugars, which out take the whole nutritional value of fruits and veggies. Check out this boook, CALORIE FAT AND CARB COUNTER by Allan Borushek.
