I've been thinking about buying Pro Active to get rid of a few pimples. I don't really have bad acne, just a few pimples. I want to clear my skin and would you recommend it.

I should also add that my face is oily. I don't have a major problem with pimples but I would still like to try this stuff.

Yes. Proactive does work but you can get good results w/ drugstore products.
Neutrogena & Aveeno products have worked well for me.
Oxy 10 Face Wash, Pan Oxyl bar soaps (5-10% bp) have worked well too.
Be sure to wear SPF because benzoyl peroxide makes skin more sun sensitive.

I used it and didnt find it overly effective on my skin.
I think Pro Activ might work better on oily skin, it really dried up my skin (my face was going flaky!!)
Im still looking for something to clear up my few pimples.

I used it for a while at first it worked then my skin became very,very dry It was peeling.so now I use st.Ives deep cleaner and it is way cheaper and it works better for me,and I had a really bad pimple problem

It does work but if you just have a few pimples try a mud mask to cleanse the pores.

Yes. It is so worth it. My skin has never been horrible either.. but since using Proactiv its been amazing.. and its great to have around when you do really break out. Its not necessary to use everyday if your skin is okay... but its wonderful and totally recommend it.

ive had great results with it. i had nothing major, but i tried EVERYTHING. expensive, cheap, and i didnt want to try it, but definetly worth it. it lasts forever too. i went on my one trial kit for months. just make sure you tell them before they send you one every month, i think 3 months is the minimum amount you'll need it. i only use it at night because my skin tends to get dry and use moisturizer.
