I don't have much money, and time, well that's out of the question. *wink* ~ : )

As I sit here alone, I spot the old shoe, passed down it's said, in moments alone. The golden leather shines- the crickets chirping, the breeze, and then, the rain on the roof. ~ : )

WHACK! Gassho, I had *forgotten* where I was, sometimes it is like that, now there is golden light everywhere, the grass is shimmering in it's rays, even at night the old frogs speak of the unity of all things. ~ : )

The divine impatience, that's great Sunman! Driving us on, not into the future, but into ourselves, and then, that....still....small....voice. ~ : )

30 years I sat on this hard seat.
Then - suddenly - pop!

To be less obscure - You mean, how do 'I' get from 'here' to 'there'?
You're having a laugh, aren't you?

WHACK!

Jon C
PS, Mumof4 - The true answer is in the WHACK! It shakes you out of conceptual thought and into 'realisation'.

(OK MumOf4, this answer is dedicated to you.)
CosmicCoyote's question involves two considerations; 1. heaven is already within and around us, 2. we must become conscious of this and learn to experience it first-hand. In essence, Cosmic is asking if there is a shortcut to #2.
Cosmic knows there are many ways to accelerate the process, but there are no shortcuts.
He knows that everyone who seeks this knowledge must follow a trail of insights that lead within and then beyond the selves we know. He also knows that he's already learned how to 'quickened his pace' by practicing stillness. (ironic, eh?)
In a way, he's teasing us to think, and in another way, he's expressing what many of us feel...a divine impatience, like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll
Woe oh oh oh oh oh
And she's buying a stairway to heaven

You're playing games again, aren't you Cosmic? I guess I will have to wait until Sunman or Jon C gets here before I can get an inkling as to what you are talking about, lol...

No there is no short cut. Money wont help you either unless your rich and give it all away to good causes.
Only way is Confession, repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Saviour......and by the way....you have to mean it.
You could take a major risk and wait until you are near death to do it, but thats always assuming your conscious or dont die suddenly in a crash or of a heart attack etc...etc....before you get the chance..in that case..your f*******

Nope no shortcut, only way is thru Jesus: "I am the WAY, the Truth and the Light, no one comes to the Father except through me."

Seems, at least some of the time, that you've found it ... being in the moment.

(I personally don't think that endless striving will get us much anywhere but ... without it, it would not be possible to cease and just BE)
