Uh, No!
First off, you will be asked when entering the country for proof of adequate resources for the time you will be there.
Second, you can not get a job without a SIN (Social Insurance Number) which you can only get when issued a Work Visa, Permanent Resident Visa, etc.
Third, there are specific requirements involved for getting the above ... most of which involve applying from outside of the country ...
Here is where the information is:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/
Recommend you keep saving your money and plan things a little more carefully, including application for status.

I don't think that you are allowed to work in Canada if you are just on holiday or tourist, in spite before you could enter Canada even if you already have visa you will pass by the Immigration in Airport where you landed and will have some interviews, you need to show the immigration some amount of money as a proof that you could accommodate yourself during your holiday so why not save your money for now, if you insist to fly to Canada for that little money to be paid for the airfare, you might just waste it because if you don't pass the interview at the Airport Immigration you might end up flying back to where you came from. Just like every ones advice try to ask Govt Canada site.

I wouldn't advise relying on that. If you try to get a job there most likely they want to see that you live there, and if you want a temporary job(less than 3 months) they probably wouldn't really feel too excited about hiring you. I think if you're persistent enough you can get a job over there, but I'm not sure if it will be a job you will like. My suggestion would be to see if you can find out if it's possible to get a job over there from now, or at least search online to see what's the job outlook over there. But to be on the safe side, make sure you have enough money for at least 2 weeks over there without a job. You don't want to risk it. See if your relatives can give you a no-strings-attached loan, or maybe your friends can help. Good luck and stay safe.

As Pichi says, you can't just fly into Canada and get a job. You had better do some saving and apply to emigrate.
