A man -made institution in which you are told what your beliefs are or should be. That is why there are so many sects of religions within religions.

Church is a place to fellowship with one another, learn more about God, worship God, talk about God, and be in His presence. And to learn about Jesus Christ as well. And to do communion every week as well. As a Christian church (Not catholic) We do communion every week! And have a time of prayer before the Lord!

A Christian is defined to be the temple of God. One christian is the chruch of God. When two come together you just have a bigger church, and so on. The builing is just a place for the 'church' to gather.
