Some Christians are very limited in their knowledge of the bible. So when a question is asked they think it is ok to answer with what is in their heart. Giving rise to a myriad of answers. Most of which don't even address the question at hand nor have much basis in fact. But the main thing is they believe Christ accepts into heaven everybody that believes upon Him.

Easy.... every statement you ended saying, "some/others don't"....those people aren't Christian.
A true Christian knows these basic truths:
The trinity
Hell
The physical resurrection of Jesus
Old Testament, 10 commandments
I'll be happy to clear up any others for you too. The true believer and the pretender are clear to see.

i think of I believe the universal sentiment - it is, that we are all interior an identical boat right here, purely attempting to make the terrific of what we've - yet i think of there is one standard difficulty which you're ignoring. specifically, that whilst many stuff in subjectivity are genuinely actual, actuality isn't a functionality of subjectivity. How else ought to you likely reconsile different differing persons? it isn't the case that what's actual for me is actual for you, considering that would deny the kind between us, even though it is likewise not the case that the two truths would desire to be surely separate; in any different case, our interactions with others grow to be surely meaningless! we would purely finally end up speaking our very own languages at one yet another and on no account getting to grasp or coaching something! What you think can on no account, in and of itself, be the certainty, in view which you are able to basically ever understand your individual concepts and the techniques which you communicate interior of it. you're basically ever grasping a tiny ingredient to the huge array of understanding that this mesh of subjects stated as "certainty" ingredients. Any gadget of understanding would do properly to renowned this, i think. enable me to make a means replace on your rationalization. I admire and renowned your ideals approximately your self. I admire and renowned the truths which you will renowned as a perceiver interior of certainty. I completely refute any ideals or claims you're making approximately universality or objectivity, and that i'm hoping you do an identical to me. to place it bluntly, you do not understand. you need to think of you do, and fairly, it is totally a danger which you're precise, yet you do not understand, and neither do I. quite than "no person is erroneous", the concentration I recommend is " no person is unquestionably precise, and neither am I". once you have have been provided that down, what you have have been given isn't basically openness and psychological and non secular honesty yet additionally humility to pass alongside with it. That, i think, could be a extra suitable concepts-set to take; quite whilst we choose to allow ourselves to be challenged and to strengthen interior the face of rigidity and uncertainty.

Even tho we are christians, we are still humans who do not know everything, but enjoy discussing some things that we can discuss without losing our Faith in TRUTH. Our basic, soul saving beliefs are agreed on and that is what truly matters. We are on the same path to God/Jesus and Heaven. We may walk on the same path at different paces (spiritual maturity), but we are on the right and only path to God. We are growing in Christ, some more than others, but in the end, we'll be in Heaven. Will you?

One of the very 1st. thing that got me thinking of the possibility of no god! They are all using the same book and saying different things, and you won't go to heaven unless you believe us, We are the only "true" way. All the others are false. And of course each group is saying this. Well anyplace that wants me as a member, I'd rather not be a member of.

Well put. The separation of religions is so far gone that some forget what they believed in in the first place.

Mine is the best! No, mine is. You have to believe what I believe or you'll never get to Heaven.
But, it is really no different than, oh say, choosing a political party.

Annoying isn't it? Christians treat their bible like a buffet table, choosing one day to the next what they want to believe in.

But the tell you that they are sure that their god is the one true god. Do you doubt them? They are so sure, and they believe that this should be sufficient "proof" for you.
