Ok, I'm questioning something about myself. I have a tendency to let people say when, and where, and what. Like I tell my friend we should go out and I want her to choose or let her choose but she always puts it back on me and I feel like I am always deciding where to go. If we are going to meet somewhere I say ok well whatever time is fine with me i'll be free all day. She will say ok but WHAT TIME....I have a hard time putting a time because then I feel bossy. Like we are going to the movies watching this, and at 10:00. Is it ok for me to do that and me make the decision or let them make the decision? and not just friends in general when they say what time do you want the appointment...I say whatever time is fine with me. Is it bad to do that and should I stop and be more specific? Pick the time and day and everything?

Start giveing alternatives. "I can do any time between noon and two. This way you bolth feel like your in control and no one realy feels bossy. If they still try to get you to pick a time be a smart a-- and tell them something like, "Well if I have to pick it be like 3:30 in the morning", wich is like giving another alternative to her not choosing.

As long as you get no complaints later, go ahead and pick the best time and place for you. If it turns out to be a little inconvenient for them, then maybe they will speak up and help decide next time. As for a business appointment, pick the time that you are sure you can make, and ask if that would work for them also. People would not let you make all the plans if they didn't want you to. Test this out, pick places and times that you know will be bad for them...they'll speak up then, or they wont show up. When either happens, ask them to be more helpfull making plans.

They are asking you... you could always say "what time is good for you?" if they still say you pick, then you shouldn't feel bad for the decisions since they can't seem to offer up any of their own.

Just tell the people that YOU made the decisions last time and that it is their turn but you will be available any time with a little notice.
