your stomach acid will kill it, then digest it!needn't worry, you won't give birth to flies. wear a dust mask over your mouth at all times.also, wear earmuffs. if their eggs get into your ears, you'll get an infection,hear ringing noises and have panic attacks.

Most solids pass through the digestive system in a few days--the eggs or larvae may or may not survive the digestive process depending on how resistant they are to the chemicals in the body.

They are nutritious and cannot harm you. The hydrochloric acid in your stomach digests most animal proteins. The practice probably should be avoided, though, secondary to the possibility of e-coli and other pathogens that may have accompanied the egg-layers.

First off, you will not die. There is this other thing called "digestion" where acid in your stomach will dissolve things like flies. They might not taste great, but theyre quite nutritious!

Nothing... ever seen the show Fear Factor? They eat them like candy. Really, most insects are edible... just getting past the crunchiness is the hard part.
