Good question. Most of the apologists I can think of and have read have been terribly shallow. I'm not even sure I would want to see a debate like that. Christianity and atheism differ not just on the existence of God, but also on matters like epistemology and metaphysics in general. If we were to see a good debate, it would have to start with several subjects well before it got to the existence of God. The differences are systematic, and I'm not sure any single debate would be enough to address all these issues, and how can you debate about something as big as God when you can't even agree on how to know truth?

Vexing your question is. *wrinkles forehead*

I honestly can't think of anyone that's quailfied to debate an Atheist since referencing the bible is useless when debating someone who doesn't believe in it.

There are a few of us in this world that use aguments strickly based on science and logic (and in my case, sometimes harmonizing the Bible with science and logic ) but no one's come up with enough evidence for something like a debate.

I could write an article that proves God's existence (and there are others that have done it) but it would take several paragraphs just to cover one specific argument. That won't work in a debate setting where you have very little time to get your point across.

In addition, I think that a debate is pretty much a waste of time since anyone who believes in something as absurd as evolution...a theory!...yet downplays such things as the perfect placement of our planet...a fact!... as coincidence is obviously not a rational nor logical thinker.

I do debate online. Spare everyone with my appearance by not putting me where everyone can see me. I'm ugly, but I can type a sentence or two.

Ray comfort will be my choice.

Kirk Cameron has the advantage that he was "born' a public figure.

No...I prefer to just do my own thing, people are going to believe or not believe, debates are fine for some, but some people think they are master-debaters and usually they just make themselves look stupid on both sides...

So thanks, but I'll pass...
