Bike riding works well for hips. Also do sit-ups, but instead of sitting straight up twist your body diagonally, taking turns for each side. Good luck!

hips are the most 'difficult to tone and slim down' part of the body.... you can try doing targeted exercises daily to slim down the hip area. but if your hips are big because you have a big hipbone, then the only way to slim down your hips is to go for surgery and scrape away some of the bone...
sounds gross, but true.

the best thing to do is exercise. You can run or go biking. Unless you don't want to exercise your next alternative is to go to a plastic surgeon and get lipo.
