My hair is so hard to brush/comb after getting out of the shower... it's due to my hair being so coarse, and our water being really crappy... I leave my conditioner in forever too, but it doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

Mane and Tail Conditioner. I'm not joking.
The shampoo and conditioner were originally marketed for horses, but horse people started using it some years ago. Both the shampoo and conditioner are very good and promote strong glossy hair.
As for the conditioner, you can either leave it in or rinse it out. I have long, past the shoulder, hair and I always put it in after I get out of the shower to comb out tangles.
Sometimes you can find it in department stores, like Wal-Mart, but you can always find it in Western shops that carry horse supplies.

My hair can get pretty tangled too. when I wash my hair I use Optimum Oil Therapy shampoo and conditioner and I usually comb it out with a med-wide toothed comb while letting the conditioner set or rinsing. That helps to get all of the tangles out without pain and a lot of hair loss. For leave in conditioner I use Cream of Nature Chamomile and Comfrey, it's great if you want to wear a wet pony tail.

Paul Mitchell Leave-in conditioner!!! It is the best on the market. I used to go to swim practice and after Id Just rinse out my hair and throw some PM on it, and It worked like magic! By the way, you may be over conditioning your hair... overconditioning will also dry it out.

The best to use is Suave and it doesn't cost a fortune and it is a leave on condition. You can use it on wet hair or dry hair. Makes getting tangled up hair easy to comb/brush out.
You can purchased this at the Family Dollar Store. I love it and use it every day.
Good luck

I like Aussie Hair Insurance. You just spray it on after you towel dry your hair and it detangles really well. Also leaves your hair silky and shiney when dry.
