find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Yes walking and diet will get rid of belly fat and any fat anywhere...I'm a witness to that I started walking in January I was 160lbs now I am 144 I am 9 lbs away from my goal didn't really change my eating habits as far as cooking....I just cut out the fast food.....I am losing slowly but that's better than gaining!!!! Just be consistent and the fat will melt away......Good luck!!! Oh I usually walk 2-4 miles 5 days a week and rest 2 days :).. and I cut out bread.

You have to make sure your energy in (calories) is less than your energy out (exercise). You have to break a sweat and bring your heart rate to it's fat-burning level, which is individual. There are charts to help you, try googling Target Heart Rate. If you walked at a brisk pace for an hour every other day you would see some results, but it has to be fast enough to raise your heart rate.

When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

NO!!!!!!!!
And that fat is the most dangerous to have.
I walk and lift weights and I am not overweight but I have fat right there in the tummy area.
Woman especially have a problem. I heard that 1000 situps a day might do it. I can do over a 100 but a 1000...................no way.
Dr OZ, who was on Oprah's show again might have an answer. You might want to do a search on him. I think I will............
