I don't know what you are talking about? What is supposed to happen? Is the ceiling supposed to cave in? Are we supposed to pick up stones and throw them at he unmarried couple? I don't stand at the door and interview the people that attend our church.

In my congregation I think everyone treats them the same. What they do or don't do is between them and G-d... they know right and wrong and it's not like they're hurting other people, even if they ARE having sex. (which isn't even always the case). I must say though, when they do get married, everyone seems relieved and happy for them that they finally made the decision. Mazel Tov to them!

As a Christian church (not catholic) we love them as Christ would. Wether married or unmarried they are welcomed.

Hmmm.. I'm not sure.. perhaps we just sweep them under the rug?... JUST KIDDING!...

We welcome them to visit and attend.. but unmarried couples who live together are not allowed to join.. one of them has to move or they have to get married.

Nothing happens. Everyone is welcome at the Mass. If they are members of the parish they would hopefully be receiving some counseling to help them get their relationship in order. But in the meantime they are just as welcome to worship as the rest of the sinners who are there.

We love them, just like we believe Jesus would have done.

I wish I could say that all churches I have been to would follow that guideline.

They are treated like everyone else.

Eventually those couples either break up or get married.

Not much, about the same as when they don't bother to attend.

Nothing. It is a personal walk and only they can walk it. Sometimes they will start getting under conviction and get married.

Cohabiting unmarried couples, is that what you mean?
